Trunks was so focused on ending Silver’s future, he failed to realise that he’d run out of time.

I'm going to be honest I still think thor vs vegeta had the better track princes of pride sounded epic but as far as the fight itself goes trunks vs silver was the better of the two trunks ki blast and silvers psychokinesis powers looked amazing and unlike thor vs vegeta which was a stomp trunks vs silver wasn't as straight forward silver won not because he was stronger like thor but because his psychokinesis shut down trunks attacks without that trunks would have overpowered silver

I sadlty don't think so, Silver would eventually have a problem with the Timecorp's stance on maintaining the timeline, Silver wants every timeline to be won by the good guys, which obviously can't always happen and would be in conflict with it

Easily the best episode of the season, Trunks had a good analysis and Silvers Analysis was one of the best of the entire show just under Reverse-Flash. The fight was amazing so many hype moments, this track is easily the best in the season. Top tier episode

@@themustardman219 You are really underestimating xeno trunks' speed. I'm not saying silver is slow but xeno trunks is extremely fast especially with those multipliers he receives from transforming. No one knows the multiplier for SSJG since there's no official digit for it. You could say xeno trunks is layers into immeasurable speed with uncountable multipliers.

*Trunks combined the Key Sword with his own ki before charging at the golden hedgehog. Silver grabbed his Time Stone as he prepared for the strike.*

*Suddenly the Key Sword's glow intensified as Super Silver's golden glow just gave out. The Time Stone lost it's color, only shaded by a blue hue.*
*Silver's powers had just been nullified.*
Silver: Use...?
Trunks: YOU'RE DAMN RIGHT!
*Trunks shouted with power as he sliced Silver in two. Then four. Then six. Then eight. More and more until only chunks remained. And with one final blast, Silver's body was no more.*
*Trunks sighed in relief as he dematerialized the Key Sword and grabbed the Time Stone before putting on his scouter.*
Trunks: Chronoa? Yeah, it's me. The time jumper has been eliminated. He resisted arrest, so he left me no choice.
Chronoa: I suppose it can't be helped. Come back to base.
Trunks: Understood.
*He ended the call and took a second to admire the scenery of the labyrinth, frowning at how it had all come to this. Who knows? Maybe they could have been friends...*
*Shaking that from his mind, he disappeared from the labyrinth.*
Very great alt. ending mate! The reference to Trunks merking Freeza was great, and so was the parallel with Silver's ending, with both ending the fight in melancholic manner in face of their victory.

What a Great Episode and This Music is Fire!
There is a question ( that i'm always asked) "would you stay in the future?"( "or travel to the past?") Staying in the past could screw up the time line if I'm in the future (I'd ask for a rewind).
Now this is just my own opinion, but I honestly think that the fight itself was more accurate than the analysis.
They've stated that super silver is more powerful than any of trunks transformations. Yet the fight showed trunks keeping pace with super silver and even overwhelmed him with his god ki. His key sword was damaging the archie super form which if I'm not mistaken is completely invulnerable and with a time limit being its only weak point, but i would argue that silver could also resist the key sword due to him being able to stop time from being pulled out of him. I also think that silver used both chronos and chaos to affect and sent the unhaxable fused key sword against trunks. On top of that, silver doesn't even grab trunks with his PK until he finishes him. I assumed that it's one of his resistances.
I think we can all agree that xeno trunks' speed and power was just as incalculable as archie super silver.
And silver (arguably) showed much more effort than either thor or superman.
