    It all comes down to doing things that translate to movements you'll be doing on the field. Let us know if there are any drills you guys do that we didn't cover in the video. I'm curious which workouts you guys do.

      Probably my favorite movement for any position. Definitely try them if you get a chance.

      This video applies to all d line positions. The only real difference in training for d tackle vs d end is handling more double teams. Other than that, use the concepts in this video to be more explosive.

    Hey great vid btw. I have a question... I’m a little chubby but I still have some speed with much power I am also a little short any suggestions on what position I should play I’m thinking about playing in high school next year 🤷‍♂️

      Defensive tackle could be a good fit, but it all depends on what your team needs. Keep working hard and you’ll find a spot on the field.

      Normally the coaches will assign you a position based on the teams needs and your abilities, they will probably have you somewhere on the line, good luck and have fun playing ball

    I’m really trying to get good at defensive end, any extra tips? I’m really trying to be a starter this year

      Always use your hands and shoot out of your stance full speed. Don’t hesitate - if you make a mistake make it going 100mph. Other than that, learn how to recognize different blocks to help you read plays. Most importantly, have fun and don’t think too much. Good luck!
