God damn Charlie Coyle’s shootout goal was filthy. He’s sneaky slick
So was holmstroms! That was nasty. And he doesn't look the part at all which is funny to me for some reason
He has a 40% shootout conversion rate or something crazy like that
Those shootout goals from Coyle and Holmstrom were absolutely sick. A perfect forehand and a perfect backhand
Pasta's goal is the best here... pulls it out of his back pocket
Please do away with the shootout. Just have a 10 minute OT period. The odds are probably at least 80% that someone will score. If still tied after 10 minutes, each team get's their 1 point. Game over.
@@trvman1 Been saying this for years. The shootout decides the outcome of a game played as a team sport for 65 minutes with a stupid 1-on-1 competition. And I'm a Bruins fan.

@@kenrogers1948 More players shouldd o it that way, especially the ones with a really good & accurate wrister. Pick a spot and shoot and make the goalie save it. Most players when they try the slow & fancy moves just trip over themselves like Barzal did on his try.

Nah the dumbest play from the islander to not lift the puck
Thing is, it's a great save in the game but realistically Ullmark doesn't actually move it's the islanders player that misses the open net so incredible moment and great save when talking about the percentage of chance the attacker would score however when talking about a great athletic goalie move leading to a save it's average at best.

Everyone’s talking about Coyles shootout goal, but can we please acknowledge that Pasta has now done that same thing a few times where he drags an almost back hip trailing puck around for an almost knuckle ball hook where the goaltender is completely in position and it still goes by

That last goal from Boston the Ref was right there the Boston player tripped him should have been a penalty unequivocally. And their fourth goal wouldn't of happen.
Cheating Refs
Happens every game, sometimes for you, sometimes against. But when you see it right in front of you... that was a shltty non-call, and this from a Bs fan. It all evens out in the end.
islanders took to many penalties u cant do that against boston, they hav eonly themselfes to blame, stay out of the box
@@JohnWick-zl5oc I guess u missed my pivotal point in regards to the penalty the Ref purposely didn't call on Boston which was five times worse vs the penalties they called on the Islanders..
The Refs need to call equal penalties on both sides, not in the favour of Boston like again the Ref who saw the trip that the Boston player did to the Islander player just before Boston's fourth tying goal that would not have happened because the bias Ref didn't call the penalty right before the fourth tying goal for Boston....
That's why Boston went to O.T. evidently because again the bias Ref didn't make the call that was clearly a trip unless ur biased and think it wasn't, were again the Refs were calling penalties on the Islanders that were not even close to the trip I mentioned here above already three times..
So hopefully u know what I'm saying now with lopsided refereeing that should be banished and that's why Boston won irrefutablely again from lopsided bias Refs not making penalties equally in fairness to both teams under the parentheses to Boston..
This has been a problem in the NHL especially playoffs where coaches have handed in a plethora of complaints in this regard but Gary Bettman and the disciplinary board of the NHL is laughable and don't care they say bias and lopsided refereeing will always exist there is virtually nothing they can do about it, instead of giving accountability to the Refs who do..
But hey if it works out for ur team Boston of course ur all in on it because it favours ur team but if it didn't u would get a clear crystallized concept of what I'm unequivocally saying here..

These HOMERS saying that Marchand's goal was pushed in by the glove, what a joke by the MSG announcers. And of course the referees changed the call to help the MSG fans... saying Marchand pushed it in with the glove instead of the shaft of the stick, no clue what they saw on the replays... Go B's!

Two of the four islanders goals came from mistakes the bruins made on the point. First shattenkirk with that awful whiff in the offensive blue line, and then pastrnak not covering the man on the defensive blue line.
Isles got some game now just have to find a way to kill penalties.

I guess you haven’t watched too many islanders games. Half their OT losses were a result of blown leads, hell their last regulation loss they were up 4-2 going into the third and allowed the devils 5th goal with under 30 seconds left, team is just too inconsistent, top 5 power play but worse penalty kill.
