  • The ANC has held a two day land summit in Boksburg. It has changed its tune on land expropriation without compensation, saying there is nothing preventing government from implementing the policy. The governing party is now calling on government to go ahead and take back the land without compensation where it can. Despite this, however, there are still matters that need clarity. There was never an intention to address the land question, why? After 1994, most if not all Agricultural Colleges were closed down, an opportunity for mass training lost

THANDEKA HLOPHE I love when people use facts to support an argument. He seems to be reasoned. So much better than BLF crowd. Where has he been all this time?

Joe Hardy I am so glad he is doing interviews and showing BLF supporters that noise is not a logical argument.

THANDEKA HLOPHE yeah, why don’t they have these guys on more often, the reasonable smart guys. Like Tomas Sowel in America
Uuuurgh, I’m tired or the crazies, and unfortunately they don’t move the country forward, just deepen the divide and create social tension.

The newsman’s harping on the “failure” of the ANC and the party’s admission or lack thereof these failures is redundant and needless. He sounds like an undercover white man or perhaps“Uncle Ruckus” or Maimane’s cousin in the media or something. Urgh! 🤮 The fact that the ANC has resolved to move with purpose and urgency towards addressing the land issue in SA is by default an admission that previous methods did not work therefore it is time for a new approach.

The problem we have is with intellectual laziness where we have people comment without context. How is the SA situation equivalent to the Zimbabwe situation?
