I'm American and I'm learning Welsh and as much as I can for my gf one day once I'm fluent enough I plan to visit, thank you so much for your videos and I hope you keep making them

I'm a music enthusiast and singer, so have great fondness for Wales despite never having been there and having no Welsh lineage. There are many magnificent Welsh hymns, and some of the tune names reflect that origin: Cwm Rhondda, for instance (Guide Me O Thou Great Jehovah), or Aberystwyth (Jesus, Lover Of My Soul)...

my grandad was from a village near Ruthin and lots of my cousins live nearby and in Colwyn Bay. so many happy memories in Wales and proud to be 1/4 Welsh!

No such thing as 1/4 Welsh, if you're a bit Welsh you're 100% Welsh! 😅 Joking aside, this is lovely. I want to see more of the north myself

Stayed in North Wales for two days during a UK trip with family. We went to Porthmadog via the Ffestiniog Railway, with a beautiful, if grey and rainy ride through Snowdonia. Then to the Stone Science museum in Anglesey, and Conwy Castle, before moving on to Liverpool. Definitely want to go back one day!

From Canada myself, but my granddad and dad were from a little village in the north called Penmaenmawr. Always wanted to go, remember listening to their stories of growing up there. Someday my boyfriend and I would love to visit or eventually move there - he's in love in with the rain, and I'm in love with the language, and we're both in love with the landscape. I adore Wales! Cymru am byth!

My own view is that if Wales was independent it would have built it's own rail line north to south, and would have a better infrastructure. All the best.

Regularly visit Barmouth. Its known locally as Telford on Sea. As its where everyone from Telford, Shropshire go for some seaside. If its a warm day, you will almost certainly bump into someone you know from Telford whilst in Barmouth 😂

@@WelshASMR82MapsYeah, there are quite a lot of Brummies, Telfordians and Wulfrunians* that visit Barmouth every summer.
*Wulfrunians are people from Wolverhampton. Shwmae o Wrecsam!

I thought it would be nice to listen to Wales from you and I'm right, thanks for the nice video. But the fact that the cities are so close to each other caught my attention in South Wales, it is interesting.

We are densely populated in the south east but less so elsewhere. Practically no one lives in the middle of Wales!

    Not Welsh
    Never been to Wales
    No childhood memories about Wales
    No connection to Wales
    100% Enjoyment

In that big long place name place there is a coop which I've been to a few times because me and my friend used to go to his caravan or lodge about 4 minutes from it
