just a shoutout that from Portland, Maine there's not any MLS team, but from Portland, Oregon there exists Portland Timbers one of the best MLS teams, and great video as always!
Thanks, I knew one of them had an MLS team!
Would be cool to see the diferences between north american city and their european ancestor. Like Calgary , Montpellier, London etc...
Hmmmm, interesting idea... 🤔
I think a cool video idea would be to check out US national parks on google maps, like Yellowstone, grand tetons, or glacier national park
Oh, yes! I'd love that! Great suggestion! 👍
This video was really oddly comforting to me on a difficult night as I was looking for a video to help me feel better.
Hope you're ok!
@@WelshASMR82Maps thank you for responding. I appreciate you!
21:02 That is Mt. Hood! I skied there a few weeks ago. Very late season this year
Awesome! I've never been skiing ⛷️
The ski lifts at Mt Hood are operational year round actually
Love the video idea would definitely like to see more💪🏼
Thanks 😊
21:00 I know it's an old video, but I finally stumbled upon the one with my home town. That is Mt Hood (3 times higher than Ben Nevis), and youre missing out if you don't go skiing there at least once. Also yes, the Timbers (the good soccer team) are from here
That picture is taken facing east, but the equally as stunning Mt St Helens can be seen when facing north.
Lots of greenery in our city. Our humble state has glaciers, some of the best beaches, large, rainy forests, moderately sized temperate forests, expansive grassland and desert, lots of desert and canyons. If you're into nature-based tourism this is definitely the place.
Portland is a bit lacking in terms of city type tourist destinations for its size (2M people). I mean, one of our most famous landmarks is a run of the mill bookstore. It's not even that big. But it's a good jumping off point to start your Oregon adventure!
I like the Timbers, good MLS team!
@WelshASMR82Maps XD so I noticed in the video you said that you wanted to visit the area because it always looked very green, and while that's true from above, Wales has us beat. I went there for the first time ever last week and all the grass was green. The Willamette Valley in Oregon has just as many trees, but the grass is all a tan brown. It's annoying.
Check out Mackinac Island, Michigan. Very unique place.
Hmmmm, interesting! Thanks!
I was so excited that you were going to do Seattle as it was in the description, but then just as you were about to click it Portland distracted you :(
Oh no! I have done Seattle in another video tho, check the next one! 😅🤪
You should check out Bakersfield CA
OK, will do!
You should include asheville north carolina in a video!
I like it! Can you do Phoenix, AZ?

The picture at 15:37… is in Northern Arizona, near the town of Page. So that’s weird that it ended up in that batch of Albuquerque pictures lol
Haha, really?? I was doing a map video for my Swedish channel this week and a pic of Stockholm slipped into the pics of this tiny mining village up North. It can happen, I guess. Weird tho 🤔

People…. actually watch the MLS?? Is it any good? My knowledge of soccer (the Brits invented the term soccer don’t get on me about it) is limited to my Avô’s team Benfica and being coached by a nice older Scottish couple in an MLS youth camp in kindergarten 😅. I’ll admit that after kindergarten like most Americans it never really interested me that much, but watching your videos and hearing a couple of my friends talk about it has sparked my interest a little. Maybe a video on the MLS on your new football channel could be cool, I have a lot to learn haha.
The MLS is shown on cable TV (Sky Sports) alongside the Premier League. It doesn't have any other leagues (German, Spanish, etc.) So it gets decent views. It's a fun league with some recognisable ex British players and it's fun to watch. I am planning on doing videos on it over on my Football channel soon. As for Benfica, amazing team. I went to the opening match in the Estádio da Luz when it opened (a friendly against Real Madrid) and the stadium is stunning. Got to see Luis Figo's first match for Real after moving drom Barcelona. Happy memories! 😊
@@WelshASMR82Maps Wow interesting! That actually sounds pretty cool. I’m looking forward to learning a lot more from your videos then ☺️
Inspired by the accidental double Portland situation… it could interesting to compare cities with the same name!
😆 lol. I was so confused. Cool video idea, thanks!
try bethesda MD
We have a Bethesda in north Wales! 😸👍 I'll check it out
@@WelshASMR82Maps awesome! It's not like some super historical town like new Orleans but it is a very nice city with suburbs and a city
