I love stretched mini twists! They are so versatile. The time to do them is rough, but what's worse is taking them down when they've been up for weeks and it feels like your roots are trying to loc up! 😬
And kudos to you for all the neat parts! I just finger part mine!! 🤣🤣
See you can always unravel and remove the shed Hair and retwist to avoid that and avoid taking down your whole head at once

As often as I used to do mini twists (my hair grew and I grew lazy😆) I never thought to braid them at night. Might try that soon because it looked so cute

love a mini twist protective style. love the time it saves over the few weeks i wear them. hate the 5 hours it takes to put them in.
I’ve watched soooo many mini twists videos and yours is by far the best. I’m debating getting locs and I wanted mini twists to try to test how I will feel with them. I saw so many 3b/c mini twists videos, that I started to get discouraged. I just ordered my products and plan to install mines this weekend!!
So....Questions:
1: How many twists did you have in total.
2: How long did this take you.
3: How long did you leave this in?
4: How long did it take to take them down?

I usually leave my hair in twists and retwist every 5 weeks.
I usually do between 95-120 medium twists, any smaller and it takes just toooooo dang long lol.
When I did 127 twists, they took me 5 hours to put in and SEVEN to take down lol.
Never again. No more than 100 from now on 😂
Also, in terms of making them last, I braid the root down an inch first then twist the rest, they don't unravel then.
I wash them in the twists and I stretch the banding method (but with hairbands) and they stretch out beautifully.
The twist are my go to protective hairstyle, I love it and it looks gorgeous on you

Girl!! I use the twisting paste too! I love it because it’s like a gel but it’s superrrr moisturizing. You should use it for a twist out. It made my hair super fluffy and elongated my fave product rn for sure
i used it for a braid out before i lOVEDDDD it, thats what gave me the idea to do it here =)

I have twists in my hair now using this. I did a twist but took it out because I wanted to make them smaller and my hair was defined from just being twisted for like 3 minutes
