Love how the spiral came out! Its gorgeous with the metallic colors. The copper is giving me beachy vibes. Like sand dunes. Great job, Mark.
Thank you so much Anna 🤩
I love this piece, it's very interesting. To me the copper reminds me of flames and so I see raging flames that are being blown by a strong wind. I love how everyone sees something different: cake, pizza, a pancake with chocolate and caramel syrup, pie, cinnamon rolls, lollipop, a storm on a metallic sea, sand dunes, snowcapped mountains... I love all those interpretations! Great job, Mark!
Thank you so much. I appreciate your feedback too
I tried not to pee myself trying to read it out loud 😂. You're the bestest
The copper really looks like flames. Beautiful!
Thank you 🤩
Good morning Mark. I’ve been watching you for years. I love your art.
Thanks so much Linda! Good morning! I really appreciate all of your kind words and support 🤩
Mark -- I definitely agree with you that it does look like a cake and an absolutely delicious one at that! What a great idea and how beautiful it came out. I could see that being done in a range of maybe just one color like shades of green. As you know, metallics are one of my definite favorites and I love what you created. Denise ❤
Thanks so much! 💜🤩
I just adore circles and spirals. This is beautiful. The color palette is wonderful. Looks like a special lollipop 🍭 to me. love ❤️ the video Mark ❣️
Thank you so much! ☺️
Mark, this is stunning! I love it! It reminds of wind blowing over sand, very three dimensional!
Wow, thank you! I appreciate your kind comments
Yes. My first impression was 'Cake'. I love it!
Thank you 🤩
This looked so fun. Love it. The Copper really makes it pop. Have a good week Mark and thanks for sharing ❤️
Glad you enjoyed it Carla! You have a wonderful week too
Turned out great Mark!! 👏I didn't think you had enough paint, but you definitely did. I definitely want to try this. I love a round canvas. Thanks Mark for sharing this & have a great day.😊💖
Thanks so much Judy 😊 you should defo give this one a go.
For some reason it reminds me of those crocheted doily things. I love it :) so fun 💕💕🐣
Thank you 🤩
Oooh, I was looking forward to this one Mark! I felt like it looked like a delicious toffee meringue roll! What an amazing surprise to see the spiral transfer. You mentioned cake after this came to mind! 😆😋 Beautiful piece Mark! ❤
Thank you so much my friend 💜🙏
It looks 3D. Beautiful!
Thank you! Cheers!
Cinnamon rolls 🥰😋😊
Haha - YES! I thought that too… haha thank you Susan 🤩
That's incredibly beautiful, Mark, congratulations to you! The spiral is very well expressed on the round canvas, everything leads from the outside to the inside or vice versa. The choice of colors is simply great, I like this painting very much.. 👌🧡
Thank you so much Petra 🤩
This is a very cool painting Mark ! When I look at it I see a pie with a bit of meringue on top that makes natural sugar that forms little droplets of syrup ! 🥧
Thank you 🙏
Cool technique! The painting looks yummy💜
Thanks so much 😊
Hi Mark!! 🥰 This piece is funny for me because when you put the colors on the bubble wrap, it's the same design and colors that the cake of my mom does when are young. 😄❤ It's like the caramel and cream. 😋 This piece is a beautiful memory for me. The result of this paint is so pretty. 😁 Have a great day sweet Mark!! 🤎🤍🧡
I’m so happy this brought you some happy memories 🤩
It does remind me of a cake
It looks fun. I can't wait to try it
Thanks Holly! Coffee cake, cinnamon buns, Swiss roll… now I’m hungry! Haha
The color palette is perfect for this pour. The white is definitely an enhancer, against the metallics. To me it looks like a storm, on a metallic sea. Beautiful. 😊
Ohhh yes I love that interpretation 🤩 thank you
Another beauty…definitely reminds me of a yummy cinnamon bun. 🌸
Thanks so much 🤩
Omg you always amaze me. I was wondering what I was going to do with it, once again I'll be following your gorgeous art. Absolutely love this
Thank you so much ☺️
It reminds me of a flaming inferno when it’s dry, beautiful spiral! I have to say though, the wet version made me crave Tiramisu!!😂😂 Yet another gorgeous piece, Mark, and massive points for not being afraid to try new things. Creative genius ❤❤
Oh wow! Thank you so so much 💜💜
Love it !! It's got such 3D effect to it. It almost looks like snowcapped mountains. I've seen several other artists do the bubble wrap & I've noticed that some have the bubble wrap on a larger canvas & once they finish the paint & lay the small canvas on the paint they actually use the large canvas to flip the whole thing over & grab each corner of the bubble wrap & pick them up together & the last piece of the wrap to come up is the center. Try it & see ! But I Loved the video & the colors are very nice together. Great job Mark.
Great tip! Thank you so much Pamela 🤩
Good morning from Jamaica well done Mark
Morning Hyacinth 💜
Very cool..yep.. delicious pie❤😊
Thank you 😋
So unique! I love it!
Thank you! 😊
Omg this is gorgeous
Thank you Becky - it was so much fun to do and I’m so happy you like it 🤩
Great colors for this !
Thank you 🤩
Looks delicious.
Thank you 😋
so cool 🎉
Thanks so much 🤩
Very pretty. Reminds me of something African 👍
Thank you Sandra 🤩
Definitely 3 dimensional! I could watch you pour spirals all day, very calming! 😅 Have you tried lifting straight up. I think if you used a double stick tape in the center of the 'back' of the bubble wrap, it would stay down. Well done as always! ❤
Thank you so much! Great tip! Thank you
Very cool!
Thanks so much 🤩
Reminds me of cake and pizza mix❤❤❤❤
Haha me too! Thank you 🤩
Beautiful
Thank you
Sieht aus wie ein Strickmuster, du bist mutig Mark schade, dass ein Teil verwischt ist.👏👏👏👍🙋🏼♀️🇨🇭
Thank you Marlise - so much fun to explore what’s possible 🤩
The earth, wind, fire and the sea
🤩🤩
Hahaha, after you picked up the canvas from the bubble wrap, when you said it looks like a cake... Me, not having had breakfast yet, was already terribly hungry because when you were pouring, I already saw it like something edible. It was like pancake with chocolate and caramel syrup 😆
I shouldn't watch any of your videos with colour palettes that could look like food, without eating before 😂😂😂
Anyway, your piece looks great. The wet version really looks like a tasty cake and the dried version is so beautifully shiny. Great job again! 🖒💖
PS: now it's time for me to prepare a huge pancake 😉
Hahaha I know right? I think everyone is now hungry after watching this one 🤩
@@MarkJRatcliffeArt yes, I think so, too.
What about doing one of these with only Prussian blue and white? Lots of fine spiral lines? I can imagine it would look great, too
Nice ❤
Thanks 🔥
Wow, that was so much fun to watch, Mark! In your practices did you try lifting the canvas stright up? I just wondered if that would work. I so enjoyed this.
I did Ramona - you get many more air bubbles and a bit more of a distorted texture 🤩
@@MarkJRatcliffeArt I thought you might have tried. I loved what you did here with those colors. I really thought you did great. You certainly had a steady hand.
Very pretty reminds me of pizza
Ohhh pizza! 🍕 yum!
Do you add glue to this paint also for this project? How do you get oil looking spots on ur videos!!!
I use Owatrol as the pouring medium in this one. There is no oil in my pieces 💜
🤩🤩🤩
Pizza.
Yummy 🤤
