Jamie XX is hands down my favorite artist right now. I'm glad my Google Home just randomly started playing his shit to me over a year ago. I'm new to the Jamie XX train, but man am I happy to be riding.
All of his music with the exception of a small handful of songs have blown my mind. They are all exactly what I was looking for even if I didn't know I was looking for them at all. They filled a hole for something I craved but never found anything scratching that itch.
His music is a perfect blend of being absolute bangers, and soft, melodic ambient masterpieces.
I love his music because I can go to bed to it at night, and turn up with it in the morning. Hitting both those for me with the same piece of music is an impressive feet.
