    Yes the weight loss slows down a lot when you’re closer to your goal, but omg each pound makes such a huge difference when you’re leaner - it like evens out that way!

    honestly i’ve lowkey been avoiding your weight loss journey videos because i haven’t been going to the gym recently but this is such a huge motivation!!! i haven’t been 140 since 5 years ago it’s actually insane but i am determined to be a skinny legend & say goodbye to my double chin as well!!! thank you for letting us witness your journey!

    I can't express my gratitude enough! Your meal prep recipes have been a game-changer for me, especially as I aim for high protein, low-carb meals. I've noticed that when my meals are lacking in protein, I feel hungry quicker, so I prioritize packing my first meal with protein and fiber.     I’m currently weighing between 135-139 1 year postpartum and my pre-pregnancy weight was 120 so that’s what I’m trying to get back to. So when I saw your channel and saw that your goal was also 120, I’ve been so invested in your videos🥰 I recently started a diet and lost 6 pounds but then I ended up binge eating and gaining those 6 lbs back 🥲 haven’t been able to get back on track yet

    Hi Amy, Congratulations on your weight loss I know it's so hard believe me I'm no where near your success but still trying.
    I did enjoy the story of looking at someone and wishing I could do that too. Actually that's me with you looking at you I wish I could finally be successful at weight loss (not there yet) too.

    Congrats. I love your videos! Also Ive been on this journey with you. I used the YAZIO app which is amazing . And you’re right doing a calorie deficit will get us the results we want . It’s crazy because I have 3-4 meals a day and still stay in my calorie deficit . Anyways great job with all the working you’re putting in with your health and your videos ! ❤

    Gosh I feel so stuck!! I’m also 5’1. Last summer I got to 135, but with the holidays and a miscarriage, I’ve gotten back to 153. I’ve upped my step count and working out more, and trying to eat less carbs and more protein. I gotta track more precisely, but I just feel stuck. My goal is 130 but it feels like pulling teeth trying to cut my calories down and seeing little results. But I know I gotta be consistent. Your videos truly remind be consistency works!

      Aw I can totally relate love. Consistency is definitely everything but it's also important to see your calorie intake because regardless of being mindful of protein or carbs, if you're eating too many calories then you won't lose weight or you'll lose super super slowly! I'd definitely recommend the YAZIO app! I have a link to it in my description box if you're interested ❤️

    I'm so proud of you girl! You really inspire me with your mentality!! Just a question about your deficit: how do you portion out leftover meals you didn't make yourself??? I know it might sound dumb but don't you count how much oil or butter is used in the meal? Because obviously oil adds so many calories but you don't know how much people use unless you make it yourself!

      Aw thank you! Honestly it can be tough when you are eating food you didn't cook because you truly don't know the exact amount of calories so honestly, I just take a flexible approach and I basically put the amount of calories the meal would typically be if i made it and then i add 50-100 just to be safe and cover any extra oil or butter the person might've used. But other than that, I really don't stress over it much. I just try not to make it a habit to eat food someone has cooked every single day because then there will be a lot of inaccurate counting. However, 1-3x a week is really not going to effect your weight loss much.

    What do you mean by 1 week refeed after each goal you meet?

      A refeed week is a week where you eat maintenance calories (some slowly increase calories to maintenance or you can go straight to maintenance) this helps to give your body and metabolism a reset. I’ll go into detail in the next episode!

    Omg the AG1 greens do not taste good to me lol my husband loves them though and I drink them anyway. I'm also at 139 rn and I have like the same goals as you for this year, even about reaching 135 in May. We will see how it goes

      You definitely can lose weight while in a calorie deficit without working out! Your deficit is calculated based on your activity level
