As for Grantly naming the students he taught who died in war, I was really annoyed with him when he said he made them up to save his own skin, but then again, there are real students who showed potential who died in war, so that makes him correct, as he said: "too many good men have died already".
What about Barry Barry. He was arrested for smuggling immagrants, stole a teachers car, stole charity money and dealt in dodgy stuff.

By the time he was ‘ruined’ the whole show was so it was no biggie. When W.R. was half-decent he was an awesome character. He wasn’t very smart but he was a good lad.
