  • These machines have history. They have stories to tell. Some are time capsules. This remix of the shakedown series will showcase great examples of modified by aftermarket parts or excellent kit versions of drift machines I own or that I come across from other RC drift enthusiasts :D A big hello to this particular chassis for two reasons; one I've always loved these chassis because of the "Weightshift Meister" nickname and two is because I have owned this actual chassis a couple of times over the course of the last few years. This RE-R began drifting back at Galaxy Hobby's drift track in 2016 which this version was released and has had many tune setups and parts changed over time. It most recently was sitting on a shelf until some trading occured and it ended up with me eventually. I decided to install whatever spare electronics I could to get this running once again for this video. The shocks are actually Overdose and there is a ball differential too! Front drivetrain is also installed for that neato rolling inertia effect :D The current tune setup is alright surprisingly running on nearly dead DS Racing LF-3 tires. This car may get some future tuning but it is not a high priority project currently. I also debated acquiring the latest version of the RE-R which I believe is "2021". Each version released is on a limited production run (not numbered tho) so it is a nice collector's item too :) Shoutout to Team Bad Shoppe Driver Jay H. for sending this machine around our track :D If there is requests for more RE-R content I will film it :D Enjoy the video!

      Aww yiss! I will revisit my RE-R soon enough, just gotta find time through all these wild new cars and other projects i have on the go :) I did really enjoy drifting my RE-R when I had it running. It may not be the fastest pacing drifter on track but it sure is fun :D
      이런! 나는 곧 내 RE-R을 다시 방문할 것입니다. 이 모든 거친 새 자동차와 이동 중인 다른 프로젝트를 통해 시간을 찾아야 합니다. 트랙에서 가장 빠른 페이싱 드리프터는 아닐 수 있지만 확실히 재미있습니다. :D

      Yiss love some nice RE-R action :D Sanwa MX-6 radio is a great budget friendly 3-channel radio with precision :D Love it for our rental cars as well. People notice the difference when moving from Spektrum / Flysky / Traxxas TQ-1.

      @@BadShoppe i suppose you mean positive ?because some people say that is slow in response

    • @BadShoppe
      @BadShoppe  Před rokem +1

      Precision as in it is racing quality but on the budget level. When you go up the model range of the Sanwa radios the response time gets faster and faster.

    hi nezo, have u tried the d-like re-r hybrid ver zero?, I heard a quite bit heavier when compared to yd2 or md1. How does it fare in low friction surface

    • @BadShoppe
      @BadShoppe  Před rokem

      Hello :) I have tried a few RE-R versions but not the 'Zero' yet. The RE-R's have always been on the heavier side of the chassis's. On low traction surface the chassis can perform well but requires more effort then most mid-rear motor chassis.

      @@BadShoppe I'm looking to get the RE-R hybrid chassis, but I'm curious can I use a shorty pack on these instead of the long packs?

    • @BadShoppe
      @BadShoppe  Před rokem

      yes you can run shorty packs on the RE-R :)
