Less than two miles from the stunning Saxon town of Bradford-on-Avon & The Kennet & Avon Canal and 20 minutes drive from Bath you will find Great Ashley Farm. A charming B&B set in a beautiful peaceful location providing guests with a fusion of ‘Town and Country’ life. A perfect base for guests wishing to explore Wiltshire, Longleat, Bath, Bristol, The Cotswolds, Wells and beyond .
Great Ashley Farm is a working farm with a herd of Sussex Cattle, a small flock of Oxford Down sheep and a yard with Thoroughbred horses. Our charming farmhouse overlooks a large natural pond and is set in extensive grounds and woodland, abundant with wildlife. Deer are often seen roaming through the gardens and paddocks.
Our beautiful guest bedroom suites benefit from their own private access and are adjacent to the farmhouse, guests have a choice of two super king size bedrooms. Rooms may also be arranged as twins or for single use. One of our guest rooms is on the ground floor which is ideal for less mobile guests.The room are very well appointed and have many thoughtful touches, attention to detail is at the heart of what guests are provided with during their stay.
All rooms are en-suite with power showers, all have full central heating, quality pocket sprung mattresses, crisp white linen, flat screen tv’s, tea & coffee making facilities, chiller fridges, iron and iron boards. Free wifi is available and there is plenty of parking.
Please don’t think that its all about The World Heritage City of Bath, Great Ashley Farm is in a fabulous location surrounded by National Trust properties, Stonehenge, Avebury, Wells, Cheddar, Glastonbury, Salisbury, Castle Combe, Lacock, MOD Corsham, Longleat & The Cotswolds are all very accessible. Both Helen and Alex are Bradfordians so their knowledge of the area is extensive. They are always happy to help with local information including transport and some of the great places to eat in the area.

Great Ashley Farm B&B is a brilliant place for walking, cycling or golf. We have a secure store room for your bikes, walking boots and golf clubs, which has maps, basic bike maintenance kits and washing facilities for your bikes and boots. The farm is surrounded by peaceful, quiet country lanes. You’ll be sure to meet many other walkers, runners, cyclist and horse riders filling their lungs with fresh air.

Great Ashley Farm is surrounded by public footpaths, or you can walk the Kennet and Avon canal from Bradford-on-Avon, Limpley Stoke or Avoncliffe, or take a stroll along the River Avon - you’re sure to see some wonderful wildlife en route!
Much of Wiltshire is designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and one of the best ways to explore is on foot. Prehistoric sites such as Stonehenge and Avebury, and the famous White Horse figures that have been cut into the hillsides exposing the chalk beneath, provide examples of the importance to Wiltshire of its wonderful landscape.
Wiltshire has more than 8,200 paths for walkers and cyclists to explore. Walking and cycling in Wiltshire’s peaceful, glorious countryside will show you rural England at its very best.
