I'm trying to get motivated to clean mine but when I watch like 20 cleaning videos I go into my room and stare at I for like a hour
Here's a challenge for you to get started: set a timer for 10 or 20 minutes and just start picking up and cleaning things as fast as you can in that time period. If you feel like you can keep going after the timer ends, continue! If you were dying for the timer to finally go off, reward yourself with a break! Watch some Netflix, play that video game, go do you. Even if you don't come back to it today, 10-20 minutes a day makes more progress than putting it off and continuing to bear that cyclical stress of it being too messy to clean and it stresses you out that it's messy... hope this helps a wee bit!

You need a chair. “The Chair” by definition is an obligated catch all for clothes lol. At least if the clothes are on your chair they won’t be on the floor 🤷🏽♀️

That’s exactly what I had and I swearrr the pile almost went all the way up to my ceiling 😂 when it would fall over they’d go on the floor and I wouldn’t bother to put them back 😭 I finally cleaned it all though
Whenever I don't feel like putting up my laundry I put them on my chair. Then I wanna sit on my chair so I put them up 😂

i worked in a day care, and when the kids made a huge mess of everything thats what we did. always hated it cuz then you end up with hair and dust mixed in with the toys.
I wonder how do people rooms get this dirty, everything I touch in my room goes to the exactly same spot it was before

When I was 7 my therapist told me I had OCD. Even though messy rooms satisfy me (because it’s a bigger mess to clean) I literally can not leave anything untouched and my rooms always clean.

I’m VERY OCD about my whole house..I probably got a problem, BUT I did enjoy watching you getting the cleaning in..I like keeping everything cleaned up just because whose got time to clean all the time..I put things away not to be just OCD, but it just makes my life easier and where I have time for other things plus, I LOVE to be around clean stuff..I get soooo moody when my house is disorganized..lol I find if I clean a little something every day..the house stays clean through the week, then, on the weekend, sweep and mop, dust, etc

You should try to set a ten minute timer every morning or evening and just do a quick tidy and throw trash away and put your clothes away. That’s what really helps me to always stay on top of my game (besides when I’m sick) 😄

LOL at 4:02 I love finding cash while cleaning! Long time ago, when I worked 3rd shift, Drive through was my dinner of choice... I would go to T-Bell or Wendy's and get a salad every day before starting my shift, and I would just dump the coins in the seat, ashtray, ect...
We were going on vacation, and I told my nephew if he helped me clean out my car, he could keep all the change he found... AT MOST I thought there would be MAYBE $10.... That little dude found $65! Well, I couldn't go back on my word... but my gosh! coins add up!

My best friend teaches her kids to clean their rooms using the "RAINBOW" method. You pick up things in order from the color of the Rainbow. Pick up all the Red things, then Orange things, Yellow things, ect... At the end of the "Rainbow" you decide with what's leftover (usually white, black, brown and multicolored things) what is your "Pot of Gold"
