Their mesh bracelets are fantastic. When the factory strap on my Omega Seamaster started to deteriorate, I bought a “cheap” Squale bracelet, my first mesh, just to see if I liked the look before investing in an Omega mesh bracelet. 3 years later, the Squale mesh is still mated to the Omega. It’s rock solid and wears beautifully. Have a sunray blue 1521 on order now. I can’t wait!

I have a Navy SEAL friend who wears and loves this piece, and I think it’s well styled for them. I also dig the bezel lum that gives it that tactical look that goes well with tritium night sights on pistols.
Nice review of a watch I am thinking a lot about. Is yours a special edition, or was the bezel changed? I thought that the 1521 pvd didn't have a fully lumed bezel, and that it was offered only on the COSC 1521.

That’s only the people who not like watches and just like ROLEX!! I say if that’s the case those people might as well don’t like 40% of the watch companies. Zenith Chronomaster Tissot, gentleman, Seiko Speedtimer, Omega speedmaster. Citizen Tsuyosa. All look like a ROLEX. This is just some brands. Not to mention, Sinn… Rolex is not the first that come up with every single design that people see! I guess that’s more Squale for us! Lol I always say people shouldn’t like replicas that put Rolex on the Dial and they’re not a Rolex. And if Rolex makes watches more available, These companies wouldn’t make replicas. Squale is a great watch! Rolex, omega, Breitling, also use ETA movement at one point.
