If you’re a weather girl in England you’d think they’d be able to say anything, because the weather over here, this year (24) is absolutely rubbish.
You’d definitely make the climate seem so much better over here if you were presenting it with your great sunny smile.
Glad you’re not a lesbian, as so many comediennes over here seem to be. It seems that homosexuals just stick with that angle as their material, which isn’t generally funny. Have you discovered Diane Spencer? She’s pretty original from her ginger perspective.
Well done for being bold enough to talk sensibly on political matters, and not going off on some peculiar Woke agenda. But then there is no humour in Woke is there. They seem to want it all crushed out of society.
I put it to Darah O’Brein that he could host a new programme called Mock the Woke, but I reckon the system would slam it.
As an occasional member of the theatre audience I do get fed up when I buy a very expensive ticket to go out to listen to a comedian, to find that half of the text is just using the word fuck. Fuck as a repetitive expletive is not funny, and when you consider that half of the ticket price is hearing someone say something not funny, I consider that as a waste of time and money. I make that point of Lee Mack and Paul Merton, who when on television are very funny, but they are completely different on stage, and not as funny.
I’m aware that the moronic members of the audience seem to have a nervous reactive laugh towards bad language, but that’s all it is.
I’m sure a genuine good quality comedian on stage gets a better feeling of having done their job well when they know they are delivering good material. What do you think?
