I was about two weeks old when this was shot. Love this old stuff! Thanks for the continued updates and new videos Bigfoot!
I love that you’re posting these videos. Keeps my mind occupied watching these old trucks
Would love to see footage of #6 from the Hagerstown Md fairgrounds in June 1990!
Crazy that the tiny town of Holyoke was the first people to get to see Fastrax.
Wow. I knew the tank had a steering wheel in it when it was purchased from Loren Puyear, but I didn't know it performed with it in place before they swapped it out for control sticks.
Man gotta love Bigfoot.
You just don't see these types of videos anymore, so thank you
I feel like being crushed by #6 and Fastrax at the same time. I'm happy. Never heard those BBFs scream with such anger! And i loved the footage inside Fastrax; always wanted to know the belly of the beast..
So interesting to see Bigfoot 6 with the cartoon trucks and the short kicker roll bar. The non-life body looks sweet too.
I think it's actually #7
If this is July 3-4, and Roadhouse firming was on July 25, that puts this event before the movie shoot. Based on the shock arrangement, rollbar, and lack of artwork on the bedsides I'm gonna say this is Bigfoot 7 with some doors swapped in from another truck for these shows leading up to the Roadhouse shoot, where they put plain doors on the truck.
Regardless, there's nothing like that roar of a late '80s Bigfoot engine. Such an amazing sound!
According to our schedule, Road House was filmed on May 16, May 25 and June 3, with the 16th of May being #7's debut.
@@bigfoot4x4 The Roadhouse video on your channel though lists the filming as July 25?

Definitely conflicting info somewhere. Regardless, the context of the truck itself definitely suggests this is Bigfoot 7, as 6 did not have inboard shocks (inside the leaf springs) or a short-legged roll bar during this period.
@@bigfoot4x4 hey guys do you have any details or specs saved on those 2 original engines?
Well, not sure that date is correct either, as that is not on our schedule from that era. I actually do show one more date for the filming of Road House, that being July 18-19, but shows BF6. The July 25 date that you refer to is what was on the BETA tape from the filming of the dealership scene. So....not sure what is accurate...
@@bigfoot4x4 Hmm. a bit of a mystery then! Either way, great footage and we hope it'll keep coming!
Traxtacular!
🏁😀🏁
Never saw 6 with the short roll bar. Man that engine sounds exceptional for the smaller 2 carb model. I like the Ford valve covers on the chevy engines. I bet that thing was wild on 2 injected engines.
Wow. First time I've seen it with the steering wheel!!
This is some great inside footage of fastrax. Great videos! Keep them coming
Very cool. This must have been very early for Fastrax. No graphics and it still had a wheel for steering as opposed to the levers. Was Bob driving? Also, I always thought #6 had 3 carbs, different engine?.
Thanks very much for posting these AWESOME classic BIGFOOT clips. Still and always the King of the monster trucks.
Jim Kramer was driving the FastTrax here.
Jim Kramer, i think.
Bigfoot why are you so amazing
I dont want to be confrontational but this is #7 guys. Still using the mill from the road house movie apparently but missing the hood bigfoot letters and the powered by painted letters on the side of the nose by the signal light.
Great video - any footage of #6 during the UK tour in early 90s?
This looks like number 7.
Awesome 😍
Rare to see Fastrax with the steering wheel, I always thought they changed it to the sticks as soon as they bought it, I think motors that were in there when they got it were Chevy and they changed them to 2 fords, thought thats when they changed to back to the sticks
Where is Fastrax now, you guys?
this is so good bigfoot is the best monster truck
I’m guessing this tank had 2 Chevy engines before it had 2 Ford engines?
When Bob first bought it, it was Chevy powered, he later swapped in two Ford 460's in place of the original Chevy engines.
Idk much about Fastrax, but I always loved it! Also, why is there only 3 at the top? Saw a lot of dip in the track at top? Is it a slack thing?
That's Bigfoot #6? I thought #6 had longer light bars on the bed.
#6 always had the long tube roll bar. I am 99.99% sure the truck in this video is actually #7.
What motors are in the fasttrax in this video ?
And the Chevrolet engines!
@Rabbi Coomershekel McPornstien When they first bought it, it had Chevy engines. Look at the distributors. This video was evidentally taken right after they bought it.
Power by two BIG BLOCK CHEVYs?
It had Chevy's in it when Bob bought it, but he would later swap a pair of Ford 460's in their place.
The ORIGINAL "ripsaw"
No cartoon truck on the bed...keen eye will catch it

I take it this was right after it was bought since it still has the Chevy engines? I've got nothing against Chevy. It just made me chuckle when I saw the distributors on the wrong end of the engine but I see the Ford logo on the valve covers. .
Yes, later they changed them for a pair of Fords.
Why did you sell Bigfoot Fastrax?!
Fastrax in its infancy.... Steering wheel & twin Chevy Engines....
I always thought Fastrax was controlled with twin sticks, like a bulldozer or a tank. That thing was a little higher tech than I thought it was.
It was later on, I watched an interview with Bob where he said when he first acquired it, it had a steering wheel setup, but he said it never felt right to him with a wheel, so he converted it back to use sticks.
Any particular story on why the truck has Ford logos in place of the usual cartoon?
If Fastrax ever flipped, that roll bar wouldn't really save you...would it?
👍Awesome Stuff. More content please! I really want to be CZcams Friends gR😅
