This is a breakout video from our full enduro Test Session that was hosted in September. Devinci's new Spartan High Pivot (HP) launched the day our Test Sessions began. Devinci's enduro racers have been using the Spartan platform to take on the Enduro World Series for some time. It was with their feedback that the Spartan moved to a high pivot bike, still utilizing the Split Pivot design. The main focus with the Spartan HP was to make a bike that was more comfortable at speed and could still move about the mountain efficiently.

short and maneuverable, but planted and fast, sounds sick
Muy buen video!!!
It seem like every single bike review sound the same. Bike looks like a monster truck but is very Poppy. Tire looks very aggressive by it roll pretty fast. The head Angle is very slack but it doesn't feels like it on the climb....😅😅😅
Did the grip2 get a custom damper tune to match the rear
You guys are complaining about a 35 lb Enduro bike? My Kona honzo esd hardtail weights 36!
Road this bike for 8 hours (two days) at Angel Fire. Overall not a big fan, Kona Process 153 feels more plush, better on the downhill, more play-full. The Spartan felt weighted, front heavy, and going down hill on tight stuff the rear was sliding out a good amount. It needs bar risers for most downhill stuff. Fox 38 even after two days of dialing in the suspension just did not feel plush. Difficult to pull the front end up over anything. Definitely glad I don't own the bike overall. It had good maneuverability, felt ok on uphill stuff. Drivetrain was locked in. Rear shock felt ok, but not noticeable (in a bad way). It felt like it did not have the travel it needed and was more aggressive on the rider.
Cannondale jekyll school !
in LUUUUV with the lines on this bike, HP looks dope too. But damn, 35lbs AND it's carbon! :(
Not really unusual. Most Enduro bikes are in that area
👍👍👍👍👍🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
Seriously, what's up with the new bikes weight. A friend of mine got the new specialized enduro, and it was over 36lbs (~16.5kg)... these are carbon frame bikes!
Anyone complaining about weight is not into this for the right reasons. And isn't really riding in the terrain it's designed for. Go get a road bike.
Go demo a host of bikes and tell me you really noticed how a couple pounds really held you back from achieving a good day riding.
That rust on the chain?
no. just local dust
better suspension of the rest of the bikes? That's not really possible
To climb with this bike you have to be a real spartan
same video and review as previously uploaded.
horrible front brake hose routing
Sorry, $6k for a bike that weighs 35lbs is not acceptable
Pretty much all Enduro bikes are 35. The fast ews guys are like 37 38
Pivot is the best bike in the world !!!!!
Grip2 was retrofitted. God forbid they offer the customers a competitive build for less than 8 grand.
Thanks, but no thanks. FU Davinci. BIG time. Worthless cheaters, if you had ANY confidence in your product you wouldve left it as is.
that is pretty embarassing that a 6k bike needs a retrofit, should be 100% good to go
