I don't understand why most women are so afraid of red lipstick. I think everyone can totally rock red lipstick, and look gorgeous in it! I wear red lipstick everyday, can't live without it.

I have always wanted to be that woman that rocks a red lip but for most of my life I felt to noticable in a red lip - like all eyes are on me - I felt so insecure. I've recently gotten over that and I haven't put down my red lipstick, it feels effortless, polished and classic.
Talk about it...I was recently on vacation in Italy, beach area, I spent 2 weeks over there and in the morning I just put my mac red lipstick on and I took it with me every single day, TO THE BEACH you guys!!!
So, why to be afraid of it?

Yeah, I have very ugly teeth with gaps n stuff, so I would never wear a solid lip colour unless its super nude on the pinkish-peachy side.
On the flip side, I can't go out without my red lipstick. Makes me look womanly and gives me a big girl vibes which complements my kiddy Asian features.

Why do some ladies think red lips are hard to rock? Just grab a red lip and mascara and maybe some eyebrow pencil and you're out the door!
For me personally I was always afraid of red lipstick because I felt you had to be a really dressy, extroverted person and that red attracted attention somehow. As I started watching CZcams gurus, for all their faults aside, I saw different ways of applying it and casual looks that could be paired with it and one day just went and grabbed one. I also feel that as I grew more confident in my own skin I was able to own the looks I wanted to wear (if that makes sense).

I feel like it doesn't look good on me. It's SO out of my comfort zone, any lipstick basically that's darker or lighter of what I'm used to... My roommate ROCKS the red lipstick even when she's not wearing any other makeup, and I'm so jealous of her tbh!

Opposite for me. I never wear light Colours except for dark plum Colours because my lips are natural pale and not pigmented, so it makes me look as if I have no upper lip or I look sick if use pale pink, nudist Colours. My lips are pale that people think I am sick if there is nothing on my lips. And I have a face with my eyebrows snatched and highlight &I blush done.
the normal lipstick (not liquid lipstick) dosent seem pigmented at all
unbranded bleach i own it, it's really pigmented. Doesn't need a second pass at all

All women should feel comfortable in red lipstick. I see it as our bad ass uniform.
i particularly like the woman of color in the red. The funny thing is they all looked natural like they wear the red everyday. Weird.. but a good weird.

I always treated red lipstick as something to wear for special occasions but wish I could wear it more often 😔Idk why I just always feel too “overdone” when I wear it, for that reason I’ve never actually finished any of my red lipsticks before they expire 😭

I own it and it doesn't look at all like it does in the video, probably because of the lighting, in real life is way more pigmented and like a bold red, in the video it looks a bit pinkish

Do you want to know since when I’ve been wearing red lipstick? Since I was 4 years old I literally wore red lipstick every single day till I was about 7 years people used to look at me and argue with my mom but she didn’t care, she never stop me. Those formulas don't look great tbh?? Not everyone looks good in red... I look HORRIBLE in bright pinky-reds because I am so fair. Closest I come is a terracotta reddish rust colour.
Me too! Every red looks too vibrant and... wrong. like neon, almost. the closest to red i can wear is something like Bond Girl (Charlotte Tilbury). The pale struggle!

Yep ! they could have added a few more hues. America has the full spectrum. they prefer contrasts it seems , its the one thing that bothers me also .

Hmm, 999 is not a neutral red-it’s more blue! Majority of these women is more likely to have yellow undertone and that lipstick is not flattering at all. 🤔

Spitting out $37 for something with such poor pigmentation seems a bit ridiculous to say the least. You can literally find a lipstick for one fifth of the price that has much better quality. There is no point in wasting neither time nor money on these "luxury" brands that spend millions on marketing but have zero clue on how to actually create a quality product.
lalagonegaga not this case with every luxury brands . Some luxury brands make very good quality n long wear lipstick like ysl, charlotte tilbury, burberry, kat von d , lancome , tomford and mac
I have a lot of cheap makeup and I'm happy with them but there's a huge difference when you wear certain luxury products. In my opinion it's worth having a small collection of good quality makeup for a special occasion, usually they last longer, look and feel comfortable plus I bet you'll feel sexier with a little bit of luxury
Dior lipstick from this specific range let me tell you it’s one of their best line i have the nude and the 999 its buildable

it looks best on the white one, but thats because she is prettier, and that's not because she's white.
I think the red lipstick matches with the white woman and black woman really well. For the other two its fine but doesn’t really accentuate their features or look red at all
