This was always one of my favourite scenes. Every so often I come back to rewatch this video over and over. It's a fun scene because the references they are dropping are quite easy to pick up. I love pop culture references in TV shows and movies. It's always like a little nod to them. One of my favourites was in Scream, the opening scene when Drew Barrymore is talking to Ghostface on the phone about movies and she mentions that the first Nightmare on Elm Street was good but the rest sucked. It took me years to realise that was a joke because Wes Craven was essentially the creator of Nightmare on Elm Street, however he only done the first one, he didn't do the rest, and when I got the joke I found it too funny.
lol. But the 3rd one Dream Warriors was my fave. Kinda took on an X-man vibe. And Patricia Arquette doing parkour before anyone knew what parkour was so underrated.

Out of all the women on this show, and that includes most of the men. Queen Margo the destroyer is my favorite Man on the show. She's a bad B and has more balls than every guy 😂 and her character development was good. Summer did a superb job as Margo.
Agreed-this is one of my faves too & truly sets the bar for TV writing and pop culture references. 💟 Phenomenal writing & acting-Margo’s, “I’m Grace Park!” realization is comedy gold! 😁⭐️
This is honestly a very clever use of pop culture references that makes sense for the plot since obviously someone like the Queen isn’t concerning herself with earth pop culture and the writers actually give thought to the kind of pop culture the characters would know with the little nods like Elliot not reading the books. Great use of pop culture references
Oh god I needed a good laugh. Sadly I've I'm on a Magicians hiatus.... as much as I love this show I have trust issues now especially where cats are concerned and little Hester was just too much. It's too soon to go back :'(

I can only like this video once, sadly. Margo consumes information like no one else. Fashion, partying, ALL THE NERD BOOKS and shows, and is a kick-ass strong woman who doesn't take shit.
They’re referencing the episode Hush. The one where ‘the gentlemen’ come to town and steal everyone’s voices. That one and The Body, the one where Buffy finds her dead moms body after she has an aneurism, are generally considered the best episodes.
Hahaha. This is such a cool concept. Please tell me there is a scene with the BB frustrated, writing down the words they are using, unsure of the spelling, and saying "Fucking millennials ! Why can't you be students of HISTORY, not ephemera ! . . . who the hell is THEIR Harry, it is obviously re the magician kid, but WTF ?". It also smacks of the scene in Gulf where Joe and Kettle Belly "talk" in the cell.
Naw.. Eliot singing in the desert was way better than this. It brought light to just how great the show makers are at putting together musical scenes that don't feel cheesy/campy (Riverdale is a good example of bad singing scenes; like, you're trying to be Newsies/Grease, but you're not even making it to a level of Sweeney Todd). Also, Eliot's voice is insane. I hope he takes up a career in singing now that Magicians is officially over.
