Great advice on checking, rechecking and checking again the angle cut on the tops of the spars - you are quite right, cutting in the wrong direction is so easy to do. I have RW tip, RW fuselage, LW tip, LW fuselage, top and bottom written all over my spars to make sure I didn't get them the wrong way round.
Just a heads up I don’t know where you are getting your prop from but I ordered mine for the legal eagle and the back log is high and they are taking orders for May next year so you may want to get your ordered as soon as you can...
The Hummel engines website was not specific on engine weight it said 84 to 102 pounds I plan on getting the true weight of my engine after I order a hang scale today... when I get the true weight I will reply again.... I am using a mag and that’s probably a addition of 4 pounds to the overall weight but I will find out the answer as soon as I can get my hanging scale👍😁...some people opt for just the battery ignition but I feel safer using a mag myself... when complete My plane will be no heavier then 254 pounds I will make sure of that 👍😁...
Lenards plane was 10 pounds underweight 244 pounds but some of the 4130 was heavier then what is on my plans I’m building from that is mostly 4130 .30 Crome molly landing gear .49 wall

What prop did you order? I am going with the Power Fin "E" 3 blade.
I am getting a prop from Frank Johnson it’s a 2 blade wood prop 56x22

I am using a 1/2 VW full case with MAG engine that Scott at Hummel engines built for me it’s rated at 45 HP 😁👍

The C-130 was sold to a guy who is making it a Turbine. I sold it about two months before the maiden.
