Fun fact : In Get On Up, Chadwick did most of dancing and singing himself although he didn't have a dancing and singing background before that. He trained two months to learned how to sing and dance properly. Such a talented actor, you cannot hate this man! God bless you king, may your soul rest in peace.......🙏 💔

I’m amazed at how physically fit Chadwick was for this role. He was 38 ! Usually they get younger actors for this energetic performance. Chadwick owned this role and was outstanding

Man.. I had tickets to see James Brown and he died a few days before the concert. And i remember being so sad because I almost got a chance to experience his music live. And now that Chadwick has passed this just hits even harder 😔
But there are hundreds of film clips and videos that give the James Brown experience to anyone that needs it . . . but there was nothing like seeing it LIVE!!

The energy and passion for the music is something special that he learned from his mentor James Brown.
James Brown would have been so proud to see this young man play his life story. I know Denzel Washington was proud and very heartbroken when we lost him. He was on his way to being another one of the greats in his field. After watching him in a movie, he leaves you wanting for more. Now, he is performing on the other side of the heavenly door - You are so missed on this side. RIP

Best scene in a great film. This scene is near the end of film. When I saw this in the theater , this scene was so good, I was shocked it was near the end , cause if the film went on another hour, it’d still be great. Chadwick was outstanding as James Brown.
