Key takeaways-
1) Your manger is not your friend, stop relying on them for emotional or moral support
2) Learn to say no, and prioritise you mental and physical well being .
Nobody talks about these things. These are really important skills to sustain in corporate world. Thanks for sharing Pavan
Glad you find them helpful!!
as you ask your manager what are the good things I have done? Very likely, your manager will say "I don't know, why don't you tell me?". Due to different level of positions, the good things your manager thinks may not match what you think.
If you have such a manager who is not having the right intention - it is better to leave that company/team quickly. What would you expect from such a manager during appraisal season?
True. Manager will turn the tables around and ask us only.
@@PavanSathiraju Such a nice channel you are running, got so many important informations from here which I can say are very important in today's India.
@@PavanSathirajuBut sir getting new job is also difficult now a days
Even my manager is very shitty, only giving me average ratings throughout and expecting us to work like mad people. He has zero flexibility and adaptibility. Now, I am trying hard to switch companies but due to recession its difficult to find jobs.
I recommended the same mail technique to my friend. He just made everybody accountable officially and some cannot tolerate these kind of things happening from my friend.
Eventually his mails also got visibility from upper hierarchy.
He just changed the entire game positively and many people appreciated him for his drastic change.
Such content is gold.
Here is a piece of advice from my mistakes.
Record all calls and online meetings after escalation.
Don't trust anyone in corporate.
Absolutely!!!
- "What have I done good last month"
- "Say No"
- safeguard yourself
- don't express your emotions
A fantastic video! Great job!!!
Good video Pavan . I like the way you explain it. Most of the incidents happened to me as well. I got around 15 years of experience and currently in US still i see lot of politics in day to day life. One thing i believe is we need to safe guard ourselves always keep yourself upgraded otherwise We can become scapegoat.
This is something which you have made us to introspect..thanks
Seeing you gives me peace..such a genuine human being you are..❤❤
oh the wisdom you bring I had to learn the hard way...
This is pure gold, as always. Thanks for spelling it out clearly, Pavan.
Glad you find it helpful!!
Thanks for the very important points Pavan Sathiraju. In continuous, deep and focused work, professionals often find losing out on these things and falling prey to either office politics or health issues later..
Love this video !
Very useful. Thank you
U talk sense always ❤
💯 True 👌✅️
Im not in IT. Your advice is useful in all aspect in...life. Thank you very much.

Govt jobs in any form are best to enjoy life with power prestige, easy money, social respect and supremacy .
Yup. I left pvt job.
I did it one year after I graduated.
Its was IT sector.
Can't forget that nightmare my whole life.
Working in pvt sector in india is REALLY hell.
I development mental issues like ocd because of extreme pressure from family and job pressure and also study pressure (yes I was trying to get in govt job).
I will sit at home hungry rather than working under these kind of sh*t people.
Amazing
top level shit dripping down...
I think ai n robots will replace all our bosses and that will be best for everybody..😅😅😅
I agree!
That may have other problems.. 😅 it's just we aren't facing it right now
Thing is the managers are thinking about replacing us and they can 😂
No personal life😢
Alway keep upgrading 😮
No job stability 😅
Very worst profession 😭
Prepare for job again and get layoff again 😂

This content is pure gold for someone who wants to thrive in the corporate world. I have 10 years of experience in IT and whatever you have said is totally relatable. I wish i was able to implement this earlier in my journey. Thanks Pavan
I am facing such issues, to much exaggeration it's not much salary but completely fraud work.I am also from non-CS background
I think not letting to talk about your emotions, the way it is explained, people will take it in a wrong way.
"when superiors look down, they only see sh*t, when workers look up they only see a*holes"
Its not easy to cutoff from work when you are diligent. When I am focusing on priority work, I don't even get proper sleep, I get headache.
My manager told to me work two project at a time i told directly no. I am not work two project at a time.
harsh reality those can't go with their business building or startup building ,had to face the complex corporate majdoori era
1:1 every month no one is taking they are very busy with work and client meeting
We should do it for our own benefit!! Or atleast attempt
What does gyi stand for in the video title?
Sorry Anuj. That was a typo. Removed it
So real.
Hi pawan ,
My manager is harassing all our team mates and me too because of this i resigned from the job and got an offer from new job and currently serving the notuce period should i complain now to hr so that this should not be repeated further with other employees
I would do it if in your shoes! Hopefully another person can avoid it!
Won't it effects your background verification your future employer will check with past employers about you right
@officercadre : Comment is not clear can you please elaborate?
@@RAHULKUMAR-rw2zn I mean your current employment feedback will your next company won't check that ?
@officercadre complaining about the wrong attitude of managers with proper evidence will help the company to take necessary steps and reduce employee churn rate . It depends upon the organization what corrective steps they will take .Suffering harassment in a silent way is also a kind injustice that you will do to yourself and others as per my belief
Where is tester
Sir don't scare the people with your thumbnails
Honestly its not happening in most of the organisation .... 😂😂😂
That no good , ask him a few time over a few month, your playing mind games with him and are “ annoying” look up that word that a personal behavior problem that want constant assurance he look at in a good light. That also self center. If you ask me that twice , I tell you., you should know if you’re productive or not, and that is require of your job duties you are pay for.
Don't be engineer be a manager 😂
Pyramid scheme
