(First day of passenger service!) R151 T231 839/840 ride from NS3 Bukit Gombak - NS8 Marsiling

Hi guys, shortly after 839/840 was spotted doing daytime testing on the North South Line, it made an unexpected debut into passenger service on a gloomy Sunday evening being given the train number 231 and entered service from NS 16 Ang Mo Kio around 4pm. It did several round trips throughout the evening and got withdrawn from service I believe around 8-9pm. This debut caught many train fans off guard and only those who live along the North South Line were able to rush in time for the first round trip. (Side note: I moved to another carriage as I boarded at the very last carriage when the train was en route from Choa Chu Kang to Yew Tee so I did not capture the footage of that sector if you’re wondering I skipped a that whole section :D) anyways thanks for watching and like and subscribe if you enjoyed this video
