      @Anglo Saxon Yes, the hand thru the downlight hole is the most useful I think.. Both colleague and I have giant hands and it makes fishing wires really difficult

    7:01 When I saw this shot, the first thing I thought was Oompa Loompa. Not being derogatory Naomi (hope I got the spelling correct) but it was just the way you carried the ladder and walked. Noice! 🤙 Thank you for the laughs you and wotzis name (you know, the guy you work with). The laughter is a much needed tonic during these _interesting_ times and is much appreciated by me and I would think a great many others.     Recessed smoke detectors (5:47) are against regulations, as when there is a fire, the smoke doesn't touch the ceiling, it leaves a small bubble of air above it. That's why smoke detectors are as deep as they are. Just thought I'd let you know.

      I hate it when people recess them in the ceiling. It also makes the Aico ones an absolute pig to remove because you cant insert the pin in the side to remove them

    You never know what you might find under floor panels. Mislaid tools, spools of cable, I've even found beer that was being kept cold by the a/c.

    Would love to see the access to charging stations improve. Like being able to see more condos/flats and apartments install communal ones. At least level 2 which isnt too tall of an order when so many share that infrastructure.

    surley that aico smoke is non compliant. 1 its a cheap ionisation not reccomended for hallways and 2. more concerning its recessed meaning it will take ages for smoke to get into the chamber

    Good news Tom. The MK Sentry consumer units are back. A company have bought the rights and they are back on the market. I’ve seen electricaldirect and DC electrics (Finchley) selling them for not much at all.

    Uk is weird with their armored cable fetish. We just use it when its underground. Normal outdoor cable is just heavy UV plastic shielding

    Trouble with the Zoe is the faster charging is an optional extra whereas others can charge that way as standard

    Wow those telescopic R2 poles are pricey, just use a telescopic painting handle instead?..it only holds a probe.

      The cost is probably in testing the fibreglass rod to make sure it in can handle 500V as your dealing with 3 phase in Industrial property's .

    Don't get the Draper Torque. I have a Draper and it is shit. The end bits fall out and the Torque driver doesn't always work. Embarrassing on your inspections.... Also were they the 8 treads that Naomi was carrying?

    the Wiha is not worth it i had it for 5 months before the settings went to shit, go the Armeg if you buy the smaller kit and then buy the induvidual ends to finsh the set its cheaper

    Idk. 5K GBP / mo sounds ok. Where real estate can be high is 30K GBP / mo for office space which isnt tiny but isnt massive. Would be nice if I had the measurement for this office space but it didnt sound massive and definitely not even close to 6 times the size of that.

    Its not the cars that are the problem for EVs its the charging i live in a house on the street no driveway and park in work with no charge points , not possible for me or many others .

    In Slough theres a scheme similar to London's Boris Bikes, where you can rent one for a single journey. Cant imagine they'd get away with doing that if there is any legal issues with using them

      They're being piloted in a select few locations (Slough is one of them) as you've described. However, in the rest of the country, they remain illegal to use on the road, and in all cases they must not be used on the pavement.

      They are only currently legal if rented, as part of a government trial. Privately owned ones aren't allowed on roads/pavements
