  • This is a free form answer to a viewer question, "Could a device like Tesla's tower be built and made to run as intended without it having a global effect? I'm curious if this system makes the entire planet available for free energy by nature, or if it would be possible to limit the coverage to a local radius around said device."

    Good job, please do a video on static electricity effects induced by electromagnetic pulses and you are on your way to your answer to harvesting and storing alternating current from a resonant transformer. 👍

    The inspiration for Tesla's Tower was the Egyptian pyramids. The Earth is full of them. The Earth was covered with a web of free electricity. Anyone who could construct something at that level, must have had a use for it.

    So fantastic. So, are you saying we can produce electricity outta sound between 2 receiving ends? I'm learning🙂

      The answer to this question in long form is in my videos “The Secret of Nikola Tesla: Resonace” and it’s second part about the wireless transmission of electricity. It’s all put in respectful layman’s terms so everyone at every level of the learning process can hopefully get something from it. Your question is intuitive, because sound waves and electromagnetic waves use the same math to govern their behavior. The waves moving between the towers are actually raw electrical current moved by a large electromagnetic oscillator, IE, the tower at Wardenclyffe. Thank you for asking I greatly appreciate anyone being interested in this incredibly important topic and I am always excited to discuss it!

    If there were 6 towers as in four equal points around the equator and the other two at the North and South poles, or 6 towers equally spaced around the equator, might this generate an effect similar to that seen in the atmosphere at Saturn's poles?

      That’s an interesting thought. Tesla believed that the signals he was transmitting were using the skin of the earth, the shallow crust. The shape of the wave pattern would still be operating inside a roughly spherical envelope of the crust. If you had six oscillators equidistant around the equator or even if you had four and two on the poles the effect would still be spherical. If you tuned all six oscillators right and maybe played with their phase and amplitude you could probably make that spherical wave structure do almost any shape you wanted including a vortex like Saturn. Supercool but that would seem dangerous to me, like it might generate heat if the volume of moving charge got big enough.

      @@energyisfree , I'm talking about the hexagon pattern at the poles of Saturn... The shape of the waves would be spherical, but, just like bubbles, where each field resonated, there would be a hexagon shape... I gotta think some more about this... interesting indeed. Thank you.

    What impact might a system like this have on animals sensitive to magnetic and electric fields in the sea and iver the earth?

    • @energyisfree
      @energyisfree  Před rokem +2

      The deployment of a system like this would have to be done in a controlled testing environment with an environmentally responsible preset boundary. First small scale to study the possible effects and impact on ecosystems and then if deemed responsible large scale with oversight. One would think that this system shouldn’t affect wildlife or ecosystems at all given the phase boundary between ground and atmosphere but always better safe than sorry. I believe that’s why Nikola only wanted to deploy it on a small scale at first with only a few systems until he had a better idea of the practical realities of such an idea. There is a story I have read, perhaps a legend, in which Nikola energized the air so powerfully with his Colorado Springs rig that butterflies were bursting into flames so I have to believe he had some concept of the need for further research. I would love to see some money thrown at this but so far the renewable energy crowd seems insidiously silent on such funding.

      @@energyisfree cool, great, but doesn't that contradict the answer you give in response to the question that prompted this video?

    • @energyisfree
      @energyisfree  Před rokem +1

      I can see how it would seem that way and it’s a good question! I would always want to know if I’m wrong and I’m grateful for any notes. To answer: I believe that Nikola deployed the first tower alone to demonstrate its potential as an information transmission device and a second tower would allow him to create a smaller scale deployment between them. A single conductive path would have a different resonant frequency than even a slightly larger, or completely global system with many, many towers. In fact, Tesla told reporters at the time that he was already successful sending messages to Scotland but when Marconi announced a surface radio system it let all of the money out of the project.
