    Proper James Dexter style vibe on this one. Luscious mate. Can't wait to get home and fire up my Maschine now after watching this. Just bought the Higher Place Expansion so should be fun to mess about with...

    Hi my friend, im thinking of buying an Machine Mk3, could you tell me if the sounds you are using such as bass, Drums, and especially vocals are included in the software you get with it or are they custom ones you have made or purchased?

    • @PeterRobotMusic
      @PeterRobotMusic  Před měsícem +1

      Sure, yeah a lot of what I use is samples that I bought from Splice. Often the bass / synths will be internal sounds included in the Maschine, but most of the vocals and drums come from Splice.

      @PeterRobotMusic Thanks mate, I'll take a look at Splice, I'm not familiar with it.

      @@maydaygoingdown5602 Splice is the place man! It's hundreds of thousands of sounds. It can take some digging but you can find anything there.

      @PeterRobotMusic Thanks for the heads up my friend, I'm new to sampling, I have had an MPC ONE for a few days so just trying to figure it out.
      I've seen some videos on Machine Mk3 and that looks really good so thinking of getting one.

    Which one do you prefer, friend, the 707 or maschine? I don't know which one to buy. Thank you, best regards.

      Maschine all the way for me. Ability to produce way way way more types of sounds, a lot more effects and sequencing capabilities. Deeper effect layering and manipulation. The downside for some people is that the Maschine isn't standalone, you have to be plugged into your laptop, but that never bothered me because I'm always working next to my laptop anyway.

    In the first few minutes, with the drum loop sample and the hi hats...where did you find these?

    • @PeterRobotMusic
      @PeterRobotMusic  Před 10 měsíci

      Those are external samples from my own library, most of which would be downloaded from Splice

      @@PeterRobotMusic I figured that lol I was looking at my screen thinking, that does lok like an expansion pack or Maschine library lol. I have Splice, just haven't uploaded my saved sounds. Thanks Peter!

    hey how to add sample pack and how to display in maschine mk3

    • @PeterRobotMusic
      @PeterRobotMusic  Před 11 měsíci +3

      You have to add the pack into your user library folder on your computer. So pick what folders to display in your user library in Maschine preferences, add the sample pack to that folder, then rescan the folders or restart Maschine and they'll show up.
