- Destruction is back in Battlefield with the new map Haven in Battlefield 2042 Season 7 releasing on March 18 2024.
I got the chance to play the new map early in an early access event alongside some great content creators and in this gameplay I play conquest on the new map Haven and use the new SRAW gadget and the new weapon AK5C in Battlefield Season 7.

Not gonna lie, i like that destruction is back but it hasn’t evolved since BC2 in graphics. When DICE teased new destruction for BF5 (the one were the whole flat collapses) that was a big evolution, but we did get nothing like that unfortunately.
Hopefully this means the next battlefield will be filled with destructible environments.
Love the video but man 11:28 you could’ve picked the guy up lol. Idk what happened to battlefield there’s no longer a team dynamic everyone out for kills now.

I don't get it....Battlefield 2042 HAS destruction already on pretty much every single map some more extensive than others especially the recreations of older maps.
Yeah, it had destruction since launch, on every map. Not sure why people are fascinated by having 'destruction back' on this new map when it never went anywhere. Sure, the game has no levelloution events and maybe it should have, but as far as micro-destruction and building destruction, that's always been in the game. Since the reworks, all they've done is added in more objects which can be destroyed and cover that can be destroyed. These buildings which can be destroyed on Haven are literally the same exact prefab models from Arica Harbor, which have been in 2042 since launch. There's nothing new here.
It's a map design issue not destruction. Too many open areas base on the extra player count. But it was just bad map design player count was fine needed more engaging situations on the larger maps
It's the number of destructible buildings in close proximity that can be totally destroyed that's new. Other maps have destruction but in small amounts and not spread throughout the map.
Nicely done. Not trying to take credit. Perhaps they read my email? Bad Company 2 is the benchmark that I judge all Battlefield and combat games. Not including the period genre's. The building destruction adds a different layer of strategic combat and the ability to building clear the enemy on the map.
Woah the ak5c recoil seems like much more than the pre play test few days ago...
I did switch to the M5A3 at a certain point, maybe it's that?

Glad EA/DICE finally (sort of?) waking up, but finally adding destruction won’t inspire me to re-install. Been around since BFBC2, theyve torched me too many times. Finals main now. THANKS EMBARK!!

It's cuz he only plays this game for CZcams. CZcamsrs aren't always experts at the game they're playing. If anything they profit more from getting things "wrong"/ playing dumb a little. People comment about it which promotes them in the algorithm. Just like how negativity sells, ignorance is also profitable on the internet.

Those wall hacks ruin the game.
Alot of the abilities ruin the game lol. It's hard to balance maps for vehicles, flying squirrels, and spiderman. Especially with old maps that were never intended for those creatures
@@alicatdotcom you are correct those are the three that need to go. I am not opposed for a grappling hook to be a map pick up for one time use and it leaves the rope for others to use.
The recoil change is god awful, I hope they revert it
