Multidisciplinarity: Learning across fields of study

A series of sessions early on along the PhD journey grounds students' understanding of their own and other disciplines. They learn how and why a multi-disciplinary approach is effective in addressing real-world problems. Along the way, they learn key research skills: conducting a literature search, managing references, presenting findings and collectively constructing a conceptual framework.
