I will wait. The reviews are mixed with some quality issues. I also can't say I like the "window blinds" look. The $249 price for blinds seems high, but I guess that's the Tesla tax.

Agreed it is a good price., I have considered going with some thing like this since I’m tired of popping the shades in and out all the time. The motorized ones are $600

The front section is too short and not enough coverage for front passengers.
I want to know if it actually keeps the inside cooler than the 1st generation model. Making it simpler to put in is nice but the main reason for getting this is to reduce heat.
The heat reduction should be the same as first generation as they both use similar materials to protect the heat.

Hi Paul, thank you for the content, had seen this shade before, but as previously commented by others, there is a concern for durability, some even stating the shades falling off on one side after a very short period of time. Could you make sure to comment on this after spending more time with the product, specially because the cost is not insignificant. Thank you!

I just reached out to Otrifowd after a few concerns about quality.
They got back to me and mentioned that the first batch of this 3.0 version which were about less than 20 pieces had quality issue which they couldn’t catch them before release out in the market.
The one I have was okay with no quality issue.
The installation was much easier compared to previous versions and other retractable sunshade.

Recently, I just installed this sunshade, and installation was easy, but quality is poor. Factory glue on the trim edge, after a few days, the trim stared peeling off, and harmonica front and back sag. I'm very disappointed.
