Ebay/Amazon 2003 G35 Sedan headlights, are they worth it?

- In this video I talk about replacement lights I bought for my 2003 G35X on amazon. I listed the link below. My opinion on these lights are great buy for $135.00 and the overall fitment is good. The finish I would say is an 8 out of 10. They do come with bulbs pre-installed. These particular lights are not HID but there is a kit on amazon that you can buy and convert them to HID if you want. Over all if you are looking for an affordable nice looking light I would recommend these. From what I can tell these are the same as the SPEC-D lights but these are less expensive.

alot brighter and cheaper i think also you dont have to guess with bad ballast or bad bulbs

So you can buy non hid headlights and they’ll plug right into hid model cars??
Yeah my car originally came with hid. I plugged the new non hid right in.

those headlights bulb fits the regular light bulb rt? like you don’t need a specific light bulb?

Did you have to wire them up a certain way I got a pair and can't figure out the wiring

To be honest the bulbs that come with them aren’t that bright. I might go with some l.e.d bulbs.
Are they the same connector as the hid Im petty lost i want new headlights and ion wanna mess anything up and have to wait or buy new parts or headlights

I have a 2004 g35 sedan but it has halogen yellow lights I want to get these headlights but i want white lights do I have to convert them into hid or can I just buy any led and just plug in?
You should be able to just get some led bulbs👍🏻 To be home that’s what I’m looking into.

I just got my 04 sedan and I was wondering if there’s some led lights like the ones I seen on some coupes ? Don’t really know what fits the sedan since some lights only say for coupes and they don’t seem to have any for sedan

Because I was trying to get a coupe but there all clapped out and the sedan was the closes to my budget
From what I can find this is about it for the 1st gen g35 sedan. I know the ones you want. But I think you are right. Looks like they only make them for coupes and later year sedans. You could probably find a company online the does head light customization and get what you want exactly. Sorry I’m not being more help🤦♂️

How did you plug in the LED lights to your HID harness ?
The replacement head lights aren’t like the factory hid head lights they are just normal bulbs so you just buy the corresponding bulb number but in led. And once you take out the factory head light housing and unplug it from the car you will just use the remaining plug left at the fender to plug into your new housing. As far as adapting a led to your factory hid set up I don’t exactly know if that is possible.

Ok so I’ll try and explain again. On my video you can see that I replaced the entire light unit. That new light unit is not hid as you know. But! At the back of the unit where it plugs into the actual headlight unit the plug is the same between hid an non hid. So now that I have a non hid unit plugged into the car behind the fender you now have to take apart the back of the headlight unit. There are two round disc covers. You decided which one is brights and non brights build take that out and take to your auto parts store and the can do a cross part for your new led bulbs. But I will send a like to a bulb. But remember if you are hid right now the bulb will not work. Because the hid unit is very different inside. It has a totally different bulb design and a ballast that is not compatible with a normal style bulb that you would be buying for the led.
