Preparing For Winter At The Off Grid Cabin!

I've been away from the off grid cabin a lot this Summer. Now Fall is upon me and it's time to prepare for Winter! Lot's of little chores and some larger ones I've been putting off. It's no time to get them done before the bitter cold gets here. In this video, I'll be cleaning up around the off grid cabin, both inside and out, cutting firewood, piling brush, etc. Not many repairs need to be done to the cabin, but sometime this Winter I do plan on having the inside of the cabin finished!

I appreciate it. I'm trying to get the outside stuff done so I can focus on the inside stuff when it's cold and nasty outside. But the outside stuff just keeps piling up...lol

You have winter prep down to a T. Burn cardboard, sweep chimney, feed birds, clear brush and burn stumps, cut firewood and feed your carnivore dog that is very cute I might add. I could tell you feed him meat as he is lean and calm. Glad you take care of your pets so well, and your place too! Off grid is the life;)

I'm on (long) lunch break from my never-ending work. Country livin does have a few drawbacks.
