Yep, battling spider mites here too, they're the bane of my life right now! Also your alocasia odora is GORGEOUS omgggg 💚
I’d love to see a collab from you two I love both your vibes, will you ever do anything together? 💕
Omg they are sooo annoying! Sending pest free vibes out for both of us
@jesspaler6217 could be difficult since they're based on different continents
I GASPED WHEN I SAW THE BUD ON THE QUEEN! finally!
right!!!!
Fern: "It could be worst, it could be thrips!!!" Me: dealing with a new infestation of thrips this week 😭
Oh I feel ya ; me too, Safers end all is my best friend atm. Good luck !
oh nooo lol, sending you good pest banishing vibes!

I still can't believe it!!
@@wildfernseriously, so excited for you!!
I swear tis the spidermite season! My friend callled me the other day with a mite colony and I ran over with some bottles of Captain Jacks and we took on her house. It's nice having back up friend plant care. 🪴🪴🪴🪴🪴🪴🪴🪴🪴🪴🪴
Don't feel bad, you're not the only one fighting spider mites . I have been since spring. I'll probably be doing it all summer also. Your plants look amazing and you should be very proud
I think spider mites are in everyone's collection! Yipes!
@@maryperry5910 My first serious infestation lol. I think it's time to toss my Philodendron mamei before they spread to my 🦄plants 😭
Girl your makeup and hair looks so good!!! Also I love how you’re so real. So many “influencers” like to portray their life as perfect and sometimes it’s hard to constantly see that and wonder why yours isn’t perfect. So thanks for just being your amazing, real self!
Love the 90s girlie brown lipstick 💄🤎. You're fab as always ✨🌿
Thank you so much :)
Watching with my 5 year old son and when you discovered all the spider mites in on your alocasia he exclaimed "don't worry, your plants are still pretty" ❤
FINALLY THE QUEEN!!!!!! My jaw dropped and I had to explain to my boyfriend why I was freaking out with excitement 😂💖 so happy for you!!!
Awww omg yessss the girls that get it get it
I don't even need to watch before I hit the like, it's just immediate now ❤❤ Thank you for all the videos Fern!!
you're literally the bestttt 🥹 thank YOU
Clean all your plant pots and dust with a damp cloth in white vinegar, no insect will get close to your plants
When you say to clean your pots, what do you mean? How does that help? What are you dusting with white vinegar? The plant or what the plant is sitting on? Thanks!
@@LeafyConversations I think they mean that you should wipe the outside of your pots with a cloth dampened with vinegar. It deters spiders, but I believe aphids are actually attracted to the scent of vinegar 😅
@@simransandhu2769 Oh boy! Thanks for letting me know!
Dunk your airplants for 15 minutes in 20-20-20 diluted fertilizer. They love it and will bloom. Try monthly. 😊😊
Just what I needed ❤ been a crappy couple of days, so it's nice to have a planty distraction ❤
Thank you for always providing quality content and good vibes ❤
A whole HOUR of Fern content?! How lucky are we 😍
thank youuuu
I'm glad I'm not the only one who's feeling in a Planty Slump. Thank you for the motivation!
Yesss haha, it's been so hard to balance everything lately. Sadly plant care has taken a back burner. We'll get back on top of it :)
I love how excited/emotional you got looking at the hoya blooms. I feel the same finding mine. So glad your wayetii bloomed. It’s one of my favourites too since it’s smells soooo good!
Had to chuckle a lil when you found the spider mites and said could be worse, could be thrips. That’s the only pest I have right now and it is indeed the worst 😂 😭

I almost woke my sleeping kids when I kept hearing “do you know who this is on?” And I looked up from my plant chores and thought…then yelled…THE QUEEN! The icon that started my Hoya obsession!!! There’s hope for every super mature K.Queen! Whaaaaat?🎉😂😅
Yesss hour long plant update video!!! 💚💚 ps. good luck with the spider mites
*LOVING❤YOUR HAIRSTYLE*
*SO PRETTY!!!!*
ahh thank you :)
When my husband hears me gasp in the living room (where my plants are) he yells out "Which plant?" LOL I'm so excited for you and your Queen!
Instead of getting rid of the tortum, you could pot it with the other philodendron, and then just have them in the same pot?
Your outfit, makeup, hair, vibe = immaculate.
Awe thank you so much!!
Yayyyy!!! I'm so happy for your krimson queen flowering!! I got so happy and emotional. These are real plant mom moments!!❤🪴 Can't wait to see her blooms!!!!😉❤️🪴🪴🪴

*not me currently watching and having a little joyful cry for your krimson queen peduncle* ✨she looks promising 💓
“My bedroom is looking really cute” girl YOU are looking very cute. Absolutely my favorite CZcamsr 🫶🏼
This is such relatable content. We’re all struggling with pests and lack of time these days. Still love seeing updates on your collection even when things are rough. ❤
Yesss so true. Thanks for watching Ciarra
yayyyy! a new fern video!!!! ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
Thank you for being so authentic Fern! Especially with all the pests at the moment it can feel so overwhelming and simply frustrating to cope with. Honestly, I wouldn’t want my worst enemy to have to deal with something like thrips for example, but it still helps so much seeing that this is completely normal and simply part of being a plant parent sometimes 😅. Also, love the update videos 😊💚
Oh my god, your cabinet❤❤, this is a dream! And the glass pipes that hold the plants with the dragonflies, its so beautiful! I have an aquarium. But a cabinet with plants is a great and rare idea at least here in Europe
Thanks so much! 😊
With the plant around the mirror in your room, you should take the other vine and put it around the bottom of the mirror.
I think the fact that I too am dealing with spidermite infestations...yet again is what's putting me in a planty slump. It's just a continuous battle, but an outbreak is the worst!
I love the authentic emotion, sadness and anger for spide mites, then pure joy and love for the hoya blooms! ❤🎉😂😢😮😅😊
Congratulations on your Hoya blooms!!! It’s so exciting and rewarding 💚
Adore your passion and excitement over your plant babies. I recently got into houseplants, having had about 10 up until about month ago, and now maybe, 40ish. I need to count them.. Anyway, it is such a joyful experience, seeing them thrive and little growth spurts every day. So glad I found your channel yesterday. Fun stuff!
The pests are so bad this year. Literally everything in my garden is covered in aphids. Even leafy cactus plants. It’s never been this bad.
ugh awful :( pests are the bane of my existence honestly
"Miracle Gro .....crack for plants" LOL 😀 SO the largest pothos leaves I saw in my life, were from a old co-worker who said she just used fertilizer on the plant....Im certain it was just miracle Gro cause thats what we used at the school I worked at, and she was the one who bought the gardening class supplies. Made me realize, theres so many "houseplant fertilizers" and going back to basic brands like Miracle Gro is really all plants need! I will use it once im done with my current fertilizer.
right!! when i didn't know anything about plants, I had my marble queen pothos and fed her miracle gro - biggest pothos leaves I've ever seen too lol!
My krimson queen blooms every year. She has the cutest pink blooms 🩷 hopefully yours will too! So many hoya blooms in this video 🌸
I‘m pretty sure you’ve had one of the air plants in your old place! I’ve had one gifted to me a couple months ago and it bloomed twice immediately after being watered once 🥺🥹
Haven’t finished watching but had to come and comment. OMG I screamed when you showed the peduncle on your krimson queen!!! I hope she flowers for you ❤️🫶🏼❤️
I enjoyed this video so so much, always do but seeing the update/walk through feels so satisfying. Hopefully your spidermites treatment go well and they leave your plants alone. That alocasia aureo odora is extremely eye-catching like wooow!! Thank you for taking us along with you, looking forward to Monday😚
Your hard work paid off with the queen!!!
ahh thank you :') I can't believe it!
You had AN air plant...I remember it in the skeleton hand!
I will never understand why a hoya has such weirdly wonderful blooms! They look like something out of Dr. Seuss. And they have the most unique leaves as well. How can such a perfect plant exist?! 😄
they really are so cool! I'm glad you appreciate their beauty too :)
That was a lovely moment to watch w your Hoya 😍 hope the bloom sticks!
awe thank you so much :) my fingers are crossed!
I also have a lifetime-size box of Miracle Gro that I’ve been trying to work through for months. And it just remains, like I’m not getting down the box, it magically fluffs up with more crystals. A self-sustaining supply. Maybe one of these years I can move on to those sexy fertilizers all the plant tube peeps use. 😂
hahaha it lasts forever doesn't it!
Waiiiit😩 I JUST GOT SPIDER MITES TOO! Please film your pest treatment routine🙏🏼 I’m struggling over here and don’t want to lose too many of my babies!
I agree with is plz film pest treatment…. I just got spider mites also 😢it’s on almost all of my plants
@@SeeMorePlants must be spider mite season 🙅🏻♀️ be safe out there y’all!
Get excited Fern! I'm excited for you 🪴🤩
Awe thank youuuu
TASTE THE HOYA BLOOM SAP!!! its yummmmm and floral
OMG I'm so happy your Krimson Queen is FINALLY GOING TO BLOOM!!!!
Ahhhh I really hope so!!
Duuuuude what is it with the spider mites recently?! I hadn’t really seen any, then treated all of my plants to be safe, then went away for two weeks. When I got back they were everywhere! My p McDowell looked exactly like your alocasia! Happy to hear that I’m not alone in the battle
Omg they just pop up like crazy sometimes!! So annoying! Hope your McDowell has made a full recovery :)
Oh my gosh how exciting is that peduncle on your Crimson Queen!!!! I would also love some tips on the Hoya Heuschkeliana Variegated. I have a teeny tiny one that I would love to grow as big as yours is 💚
The year Fern absolutely loses her brain boggles bc of The Queen 😅 I hope she gives you the most epic blooms!!
With the cebu no id, you could totally chop the bottom that’s missing leaves into node cuttings to have back ups! I would hate for you to lose that! ❤
I’ve always had a preference to the poly over the tortum, I believe it’s the growth pattern. I love how the tortum sizes up, but I find it ends up looking more sparse and less compact compared to the poly.
And the king of spades almost looks sun bleached. Maybe too much light?
Good luck! Thanks for another amazing video! ❤
sending my best wishes for the krimson queen peduncle! seeing potential blooms on hoya are always so exciting 🤍
ahh thank you so much :)
Your hair style is so so cute!!!!
Always watching your videos while working. So relaxing
thank you so much for watching :)
My favourite alocasia is the cuprea. The one I have at the moment is absolutely amazing. But I also love my pink variegated bambino, excited for it to put out new leaves
It’s the year for spider mites 😩
I put my Christmas cactus outside in the summer and keep it in the shade. They grow like crazy. I left them out till just before the first frost. She also bloomed like crazy that year.
I am so excited for your Krimson Queen. Fingers crossed 🤞 she blooms!!!❤
Ahhh thank you!!
Omg your Tortum is what inspired me to get one. It’s so lush!! Will be sad to see it go 😢
5:21 NO!!!!!!! The way I just gasped. Fricken miss calathea. There will be another 🌿💚 rip
Enjoyed the video.Did my plants things while I watched. Your plants are doing awesome,I think they like the new house .🎉❤
The alocasia dragons breath is so pretty 💚🌱
Soo many blooms 😍😍
Apparently pests decided that tis the season to relay race on my rescue orchid... like they're preparing for the Olympics or something. I've had mealybugs and spidermites on it, fungus gnats flying around, only waiting for thrips or scale to appear lol, chill out pls x)
You getting so excited about Hoya blooms makes me want to go buy a mature one so it will bloom. My 3 Hoyas are all still juvenile but those blooms are beautiful! Dealing with spider mites on my Alocasia Jacklyn! Tis the season I guess 🤦🏻♀️
Btw makeup & hair was 🔥🔥
Def show us those 11 blooms!! 😮😮
Thank you so much for so many hour+ videos 😊
You are so welcome! :)
Proxy shook at that hoya bella 😍
Oh my gosh fern!!!! Congrats on the crimson queen! I guess she liked her repot :)🌸
Right!! Thank you so much :)
I knew it! I knew your queen would try to bloom after your repotted her! Mine just bloomed. They literally smell like chocolate even before the buds open! :3
I hope your bloom on the krimson queen comes to fruition.
The air plant is a bromeliad relative. Soak them in a bowl from time to time with a diluted fertilizer.
My crimson Queen and Wayetii are about to bloom for me for the first time too! I was SHOCKED because they are my oldest Hoyas and they’ve never come close. Excited for you!
Omg that is sooo exciting!! yay!!
From experience, the borsigiana aurea prefers to be on the dry side. My albo loves humidity, my aurea rots in it. It also somehow loves being in really high light. I'm not sure if your specimen would like the same, but I treat it like an orchid.
Love the video! 🌿🌱 that dragon scale is to die for 😍 stunningggg!
Ahh thank you :)
Your videos inspired
me to make my own ❤❤
Also your hair is phenomenal!!
awww that is amazing, I'll have to check out your channel! and thank you so much :)
@wildfern hehe please do! I need to know how to improve 😭
I do the same watering system but I put a string in the cup with a knot and then run the string down the whole pole .. but then I have to leave the cup there all the time which doesn't look as nice of course
I discovered a peduncle on my Krimson Queen this week and the way I literally gasped when I saw it, I even startled my husband 😂 mind you, I only have that one Hoya in my collection and it is the very first peduncle I have ever gotten 🥰 I thought of you immediately 😂💕 I do hope yours and mine come to fruition! Sending all the good flowering vibes 🌸 ✨
Your Queen!!! Yes!!! Long time sub so I feel like I'm in it with you 🧡🌿
I’ve got a multiflora and you’re right. They bloom all the time and they last two weeks. Little liquid as far as I’ve seen. Love this on e it’s my favorite plant.
Loved this❤
Holy moly! Flowers on your queen I am so excited for you.❤
Ahhh thank you!!
Fern, now I'm going to have to get some of that ferilizer!! 😁
9:30 in and all i can see is your PowerPuff Girls connection Mojo Jojo nail polish by Mooncat 😂 sooo good
Baby oil and dish soap cleared up my scale problem
Immediately clicked I love watching ur videos. So recently I’ve been obsessed with the Dracena marginata and I got a 10 year old one today from offer up and he’s absolutely GORGEOUS
Omg I looove those - that is so exciting! Congrats!
I absolutely love love love the alocasia olani but haven’t seen it around in Europe, you’re so lucky!!
awe I hope it pops up near you soon!!
The zebrina reticulata is stunning
Saw the notification at work and so excited to unwind with these updates! 🫰🏽💚🪴
The silver bay is on my wish list. One of the top.
regarding the calathea warscewiczii, idk if youve tried that already but my friend has humungous calatheas and grows hers in a dense soil mix with compost and terracotta pots. the excess water from the terracotta seems to raise the humidity around the plant somewhat. though im not sure if the climate in my region and yours are similar and what youve tried already. at this point im also suspecting my friend with the thriving calatheas to be a witch or something tbh, she also grows needy anthuriums in room humidity somehow- so maybe its just her. 😅
