- Toyota Raize 1.2 G: Non-turbo, but still efficient | Top Gear Philippines Drives
We got the chance to test the non-turbo variant of the Toyota Raize. It still wears the chunky fenders and the mean-looking front end of its 1.0 Turbo CVT sibling, but is the 1.2-liter naturally aspirated engine here enough for our roads? Let's find out.

Usually naturally aspirated are more fuel-efficient and the engine is not pushed beyond it's performance. Turbo is like an overclocked CPU in a computer, it'll perform better but the power efficiency (in this case, fuel efficiency) is generally thrown out the window.
Nice review👌👍👌
im concern about roof. i went to a dealership here , but i dont see any raize red with black roof?
Does a folded baby stroller fit in the trunk?
This is the best review I've seen on the Raize
May option pala na two tone sa G variant?
Kuya..pede ba sya sa grab? Sub-compact?
Goods 🙂🙂
5'8 is average height but 5'9 and 5'10 is also average height. but other than that, I'm checking reviews to see what their *missing to mention* in their videos.
So far, your one of the top CZcamsrs with best edits and not melodramatic and overused sounds with no control in the volume.
videography is on spot, especially the font use, angles and color grading.
filipino's ave height is 5'4
Which is better the 1.0 turbo. Erosion or the 1.2 non turbo version?
If it is 4 cylinder aspirated engine it would be nice
hindi ata cons ang engine struggles when loaded..expected yun sa 1.2..
available ba ito sa philippines 2 tone??
Yes, the turbo variant has a 2-tone paint.
Question: san ang manual tailgate release raize?
dealer option ba yang two tone for G variant?
Ff
Si turbo ay may 140 nm @ 2400 4000rpm yang 1.2 G ay may 113 nm @ 4500rpm yes dama ko lakas ng hatak ni raize turbo pero pag loaded na ayun lng😂
Positive parin naman ang Cons mo. Every engine struggles when they are fully loaded just sayin
JUST GET THE 1.2 AND TUNE IT
Ang bobong po pina repaint po yan?
Kahit po na naka power mode kana hirap padin pag puno?
No need power mode pag puno unless super steep talaga. Gnagamit ko lang yun pag quick overtake
I tried driving it with 6 people inside (including me), hindi naman siya hirap kahit pag pataas and hindi pa gamit ang PWR.
Ang liit pala
I am a Toyota fan and Vios driver. Based on the Vios alone, I believe in Toyota durability and reliability. But I think those who are looking at the Raize must also seriously consider the Changan CS35 (all variants: below P1M, plush interior, 1.5 engine w turbo, w autonomous braking, w adaptive cruise, etc.). Sorry Toyota Ph, but at this point the Changan crossover is much much better than the Daihatsu Raize..
changan CS25 plus? to be honest, everyone has preferences. so.. 🤷
China brand, goodluck after 2-3 years. Maybe after 10 years, maybe.
Still Toyota
@@sarperdewd Changan has a 5 year warranty
CHINESE CARS ARE SHIT
Totoo po ba na mavibrate since 3 cyl lang sya?
Yup
i would have preferred the G variant if only it had the pearl white (thus i went for turbo) 😂
Wait kuna lang 1.2 Hybrid
💯🦾
How can you have a 1.2 L and not have a turbo? That will be underpowered.
Sooooo monotone
So underpowered
true
Oh no a 1mil car is underpowered? No it's just enough want a bigger engine? Spend more 1mil is very cheap
Misinformation 😂
Its a waste of money 😂
I'd rather buying vios than a raize of junk.
lol wala naman napigil sayo
@@MrAdobo-vi1cd sana may pera talaga yan
Sana may pambili ka pre. Hahaha
