Defying Gravity - Scene Synced to “Let it Go” [Frozen/Wicked/Idina Menzel]

Just a remake (or remaster?) of the one made back in Feb 2014. Didn't know what I was doing back then. Still not sure now, but at least the video quality is better and the ending isn't too lazy lol.
The most notable difference from the first one is how Glinda's lines aren't "sung" by Anna anymore. It bothered me how out of character the lyrics were for her (the “delusions of grandeur” part, anyone?), but didn’t know what else to do with it until recently. So instead, they’re now made to represent Elsa's deep-seated doubts. That pesky, self-loathing inner voice, you could say.
And on that note, the short black & white scenes at the end are meant to represent catastrophizing, thinking the worst of the future.

Nothing will ever convince me that Let It Go wasn’t inspired by Defying Gravity.

I’ve always thought the same.
She had more power than she realized & was disgraced by the people of her community because of it. But came to accept herself and realize what she had was a gift.
Let it go and this song are both about leaving the restrictions of life, and being free!

This song could be in the beginning of Frozen 3, symbolizing how far Elsa has come, and how free she is now. Just imagine it playing in the beginning of the movie, with a montage of Elsa using her powers, and then using them to fly! They could make a montage like this in a similar way to "Touch The Sky" from Brave, and "When Will My Life Begin" from Tangled.

That’d be pretty cool, but if we do get a continuation of Frozen I’d prefer it be a series like Tangled got. Could still be the big opening to the first episode though.

I don't know if they were jealous per se, but it's pretty clear that LIG was inspired by DG. They even had Idina in mind when they wrote it!
