I’m with you on Home Health! Currently a home health nurse! Love the flexibility, and I don’t miss being in the Hospital at all! I recently relocated from Connecticut to Florida. Left the hospital setting in Connecticut (that still allowed 8 hr. Shifts!! Majority of the Nurses work 12hrs, but in CT they offered (8 hr/4 hrs) to cover the 12 hrs. Now in Florida doing Home Visits! As an LPN! I Love It!!!! No longer desire to get my RN even though I completely the Pre-reqs & TEAS test. But my interest is in Beauty! So I’m going to school for that as well. ❤ I’m OFFICIALLY DONE with bedside nursing. Only Con is the Extra mileage on my car and for the PEACE ☮️ OF MIND…I’m okay with it 😅😂

It is how to do it when it comes to workplace drama and intimidation. I dealt with something the other day and do not really want to go back. The position is only per diem. After being a nurse for so long I am thinking about staying away from larger facilities. There will be something everywhere you go but the less drama, the better.

It’s a shame that we have to make these type of decisions. However, our peace of mind should come first. Thanks for watching 😊

    Great video! I just subscribed!
I've been an RN for 6 years and I would like to try HH soon. I only see case management positions for RN's. Is that a good starting position? What HH position do you recommend that I start with? Thanks for your help!

Thank you so much for sharing this information! I just started with a home health agency with a great reputation and so far the support and learning opportunities has greatly exceeded my expectations. I am looking forward to the work-life balance this position will provide for my family and I! I left med surg still as a new grad feeling like I picked the wrong job and now I am already feeling a million times better. Can't wait to see your other videos on home health nursing!

@@mysterynurse307 95% of my patients are Ortho. Mostly repetitive education. I don’t even have to assess the surgical incision because 99% of the time the patient has a non-removable dressing that the Case Manager removes in 5-7 days.
