- My Korean friend's first ever island hopping tour!
Cebu is a great gateway destination for both locals and foreigners.
Mactan Island is a paradise in itself because of its pristine waters and beautiful white sand beaches.
One of the top activities that everyone loves to embrace in the island of Mactan is the island hopping tours in the famous beach destinations. There’s nothing more fun than a day spent on the beach and be on board on a private tour exploring the islands.
Below are the islands we visited through our tour;
1. Hilutungan Island
It’s an island with a government protected reef (Olango reef) so you can expect thriving fishes and preserved corals when diving or snorkeling. The corals are located on the eastern area of the island (back section) while on the north and west is where a lagoon with white sand beach is available for swimming during high tide only.
2. Nalusuan Island
Nalusuan was named after the local Cebuano term “kalusuan” which was coined by local fishermen who fish in the area.
Nalusuan Island is one of the most amazing islands in the Philippines. It is among the best for snorkeling and island hopping adventures because the water is insanely clear. The island is also a well-known marine sanctuary.
