- Renovation of Terminal 1 of the Mactan-Cebu International Airport (MCIA) turned into an “Airport Village”.
According to MCIAA General Manager Atty. Steve Dicdican, the Terminal 1 Arrivals Pick-up Zone accounts for the majority of the MCIA passenger traffic at 7.7 million passengers per year.
The key feature of the Terminal 1 renovation is the Airport Village, the first of its kind in the country, where meeters and greeters can converge in an open village-like atmosphere.
This was my first time visiting Cebu since the pandemic, so I was truly shocked that the place became an All New Airport!
I couldn't recognize this airport any more!

I landed here last summer and I was so shocked at how much better it is than NAIA, I was even more shocked to find out it’s only the domestic…the international terminal was jaw dropping. Never flying to Manila again

that is why I skip Manila Airport as much as possible. Even if it costs me more to fly direct to Cebu cuz Both Manila Domestic and International are hideous airports.Davao Airport needs upgrade badly too, hope it will be it soon. Cebu Airport is public private partnership

@@KoreanManagerVlogs just for clarification, cebu has only 1 airport and that is mactan cebu international airport. The only difference now is that it has 2 terminals, one for domestic T1 and one for international T2. So when you say airport, its the whole aerodrome complex which includes passenger terminals, runways, taxiways, emergency rescue, maintenance, and other extended facilities.
