The center of the tyres spin much slower than the outmost surfaces. The distance between them is what creates that massive torque. Compare those tyres to those of a truck. It is exactly the other way around. Those big Scania V8 trucks have somewhere in the neighbourhood of 700 hp and 3000 engine torques, but the gearing is not made such that they would be able to perform the work of a tractor or a bulldozer. Large trucks need to be weighted and modified to perform heavy work like tractors. A truck will never be able to move two massive earth scrapers like a bulldozer or quad track tractor can.
