Mission to Europa Part I | Spaceflight Simulator (An SFS Short Movie)

- Finding an artifact on Mars leads to a series of events and a mission to the solar system’s most mysterious moon... Whelp, 1.4 update came out and in my opinion, it was well worth the wait! I've had this video in the works for a while but needed Europa for the storyline. Some of my builds had to be redone as they weren't compatible with the update but for the most part my previous work survived. A big thanks to Stef as I can tell a lot of thought went into making this game better. Had to come up with a few in-game workarounds to solve some bugs (notably falling through Europa's surface) but everything in this video was legitimately recorded with the exception of my station in front of Jupiter - totally photo-shopped... Also, I got frustrated looking for the right song for this video so I decided to just make my own.
A couple of honorable mentions: Cheezy Flakes posted a video with boosters landing Space-X style and I have practically the same scene. Not sure how he did it but I did not reverse the video to make mine land - mostly because iMovie doesn't have that capability lol. Also, Aid11 on Discord did post a picture of a rover attached inside a fairing. I had already built my rocket at the time but it was so similar in concept I want to give him a shoutout.

That mechanism you made to release the rover is brilliant, saying that all of your builds are out of this world. And from you I have learned how to reach orbit ,the right way lol not just straight up. i once accidentally landed on europa. Iwas trying to land a rover on mars but i landed on europa bc i left time sped up for barely too long and the orbit apparently also aligned with jupiter perfectly for an encounter.
The same thing happened to me i was trying to go to mars and i left the engine on for a little to long but surprising it lined up perfectly with Venus
That happened to me but I did not get into another planet

Really amazing. It must have taken a ton of trial and error to get some of those mechanics working. I love Spaceflight Simulator but I wish there were 'hinge' parts or similar mechanics.

Good books... except for the inconsistency between 2001 and 2010. Definitely drew some inspiration from them making this but I would have used Europa regardless... I legit want a mission to go there to see what’s under the ice :)
