The Michael/Scottie era of Basketball in Chicago set such a Great standard..Then They got Rodman and it only got better.. We saw the same promise in Derrick Rose..and Jimmy Butler..who both together and separately could set the score board on fire.. The Chicago office for some reason did not keep them together long enough..But The NBA Era of Teams are different now.. Back then Two Great players could take you all the way to winning the finals. Those Two Great players where actually Team Co captains. Who helped the head coach tremendously...They could each take groups of team mate players and then they play each other... Co Captain Vs Co Captain in team battle practices to help other players develop. Grow and get better..More than two Guys are needed to elevate the team to the next level of greatness now..it's like those who know their post/ position work.with their teammate bench player..who.is likely to be brought in when.he sits down.to.rest or get in.foul.trouble..those second step bench.players have to bring the goods.. When I watch the Warriors play..their bench is deep. Those benchers know what to do.. do..I too long.for the vintage Chicago bulls glory days..Such memories..

Selfish players can average high assists (Iverson) because they still dominate the ball, either talking the shot or making the pass that leads to the shot.
Those players rarely make a pass that leads to an assist because it doesn't show up in the stat sheet. As such, they don't facilitate ball movement, making their teams much easier to defend.
If Jordan had played hockey maybe it would have helped him win without Pippen because he would have trusted his teammates.
