I was there that night in Atlanta at the Olympics at the team finals. I had wanted tickets to the all around finals but had to settle for team finals. Boy, was I glad things worked out that way! It was a great night.
This was a great segment. Amanda and Shannon are such wonderful ambassadors for gymnastics. and P.S. Congrats Miss Val on your national title!!!

Amanda Borden was TRUELY the hardest worker on the US team... She didnt have the hardest routines but she persevered!!!!!! And I have always been proud of her for that!!

I really, really enjoyed this. Especially hearing the older gymnasts chat to each other, with the benefit of hindsight on their experiences. It was really interesting and relaxed and frank, with you all talking from the kind of understanding of the sport. Loved it! Thank you.

Rewatching clips of the ‘96 Olympic team on YT. Every single gymnast on that team could have easily won the all-around title. They were all amazing in every single event.
