You're very welcome Barbara! I love lace, too. This was a perfect way for me to somehow transfer that design onto paper. I'm glad you liked it! ❤️😊
Inexpensive grease proof paper & tissue paper make great clean up papers for things with delicate details like lace. They help to get into the holes more easily. Love the effects you got
Thank you so much! I agree with you about the tissue paper, love using it on gelli plate. ❤️😊
These are incredible. I only started doing journals 9 months ago and it is wonderful to see what was going on before I got interested. You are inspiring.
Thank you so much for watching and for your nice comment! 😊❤️
Plain white tissue paper is very effective to lift the paint out of the gaps in the lace, stencil or whatever and white on white tissue paper is also beautiful for collage. Stiff paper doesn’t get down in there as well, love you project!🇨🇦
I agree! Love using tissue paper on gelli . Thank you so much for wasting 😊❤️
Those are amazing! You could frame some of those.

@@Saacibo you are welcome!!
Wow! I had the same reaction as you did. You have my mind swirling with ideas...just wonderful. I have my eye on that beautiful stack of fabrics, the blue with faint floral brocade would make a great surface to print the white lace on. Then those printed fabrics could be sewn together into a fabric collage. The printed brown paper is very beautiful. Once again...a very inspiring video.
Thank you so much Linda! I'm very happy that you got inspired. That is wonderful! I love your idea of fabric collage, might try it, sounds awesome! ❤️❤️❤️
You have the best ideas, Thank you for charing.🙏🏻📘👍🏻😄

Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks so much for watching!
You are amazing!
Wow, thank you so much 😊❤️
Wow! How exciting to see the results 🙌 i suppose one could also use a narrow wooden rolling pin instead as a brayer.
Just love your videos 🎉❤
Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed it! 😊❤️
I love this.will have to try it.
I'm really glad! Thank you so much for watching 😊❤️
I love it when you combined two textures on one sheet. What a cool technique!!
I'm glad you enjoyed it! Thanks so much for watching 😊❤️
Your work is always beautiful and most inspiring. Thank you for another wonderful idea to use my gelli plate. I've never had the courage to use mine, but that's because I never thought to use it with only one color paint! That's the best idea for a beginner like myself. This would be a perfect way for me to delve into printing. I have a few rolls of different laces and plenty of neutral cardstock to turn out a batch of printed cards. It sounds like a fun project for me to try. I look forward to it. 😊 Thanks again. You make learning new techniques fun! 💐
Wow, I'm so happy to know that you got inspired to try this. I wanted to keep it simple by using one color. Once we master printing with one color then we can do more! But, even with just white we can create beautiful things! Thank you so much for watching and for leaving me a kind comment! Love it ❤️

Hi! Thank you so much for watching! 😊
Amazing an inspiration ❤ I have a tip to share 😊 as a printmaker you can always take a second print it’s a “2 for 1 “ the 2nd print will be fainter but still interesting 😊😊😊
Thank you so much for the tip! Those second prints end up looking better than the first ones, especially if you layer different ones one on top of the other. ❤️❤️❤️
What inspiration and a gray was to create one-of-find prints and they are so lovely!!❤
Thank you so much Deborah! Glad you like them! ❤️😊
Loved them dearly. You are a wonderful teacher and your art work is amazing. Thank you for sharing! Enjoy and keep up the good work.
You're very welcome Athanasia! Thank you so much for watching and for your kind comment! Much appreciated ❤️
Just love them don't have a gel plate I have that on my list
I'm glad you liked them! Thank you so much for watching and for your kind comment. ❤️😊
I just started this video so this comment is not about this video but the last one I watched, you mentioned that you wanted us to let you know if there’s anything you wanted us to teach you or go into detail about. I just recently found your channel and I am addicted already! I don’t know if you have a video about this or not but, if you don’t, could you make a video about making a charm? I recently watched your video about laminating different things and I loved it and you showed how some of the things you laminated that were small you turned into charms. Can you do a video showing how to actually make a charm? If you have already, could you link it to the end of your next video?
Oh, I made several videos about making charms. Here they are:

Love all of these the roundish pie shape looks like the table place Matt’s they work great.. it’s so fun to watch you play, experiment and enjoying yourself and sharing! TY
I'm really glad you enjoyed the video! Oh, that table place mat finally found its new purpose. I had it for two years and didn't want to throw it away when it fell apart 😆. Great for gelli printing! Thank you so much for watching! ❤️
Great idea using lace. I will have to keep my eye open at the thrift shops for old lace. When I use fabric or stencils, I put the stencil or fabric full of paint down on a card to take a print off that also. I get 2 prints for one plate prep. It is the reverse of what is on the plate. It also takes a lot of the paint off the fabric and I just drop that fabric into a bucket of water with Dawn soap to soak while I play. I can get a lot of paint out of the fabric/lace so it remains soft and can be reused over and over without hurting the geli plate. The only things I don't clean off well are my cardboard tools/stencils I make out of packaging. The more paint they get on them, the more water proof and durable they become.
Hello Jan! Thanks you so much for watching and for sharing your printing tips with me! That's excellent information you provided. I didn't wash the fabrics after I used them and they became a little stiff from paint. Next time, I'll do like you suggested and have a bucket of water and soap ready. Cheers!
Those prints are A-MA-ZING!!!
Aww, thank you so much! Glad you like them ❤️
🥰😍😘
That was a very cool and relaxing process and the outcome was great. I loved the idea of the master board, I think it would make a wonderful journal page. Thank you for sharing.
You're very welcome! I'm glad you liked the idea of a master board. I forgot to mention in the video that we can do this when printing on a larger gelli plate and using different pieces of lace on it. That would be fun, too, wouldn't it! Thank you so much for watching and leaving me a comment. Love it! ❤️
Your tags are so cool. Using lace is such a great idea and gives awesome results. Using a mini gelli plate looks like fun.....need to add it to my 'must have' list. Thanks for sharing another project great Dragana. I love this one. Take care....🤗😘
Thank you so much Karen! I'm very happy that you enjoyed this one, too. I had a lot of fun experimenting with lace and fabrics. I hope you do to if you get a chance to try. All the best ❤️😊
I absolutely love this! I just love watching your creative genius come out! Thank you so much for sharing another wonderfully beautiful creative idea with us! 💕
Oh, Andi, you're very welcome! Thank you so much for your kind words! Glad you liked the video! ❤️❤️❤️
you did a great job 💛💛💛 love the idea to "stamp" with fabrics! These little tags are so cute and lovely
Thank you so much Steffi! I'm glad you like the idea ❤️😊
Love these so much!!! Can't wait to try this. I have a box of lace pieces, scrap fabric.lace die, lace stencil etc...thank you for sharing. hugs, GinaB🥰😍💖💕
Thank you so much Gina! I'm really happy that you got inspired. There're so many things we can use to get interesting prints. When I first started gelli printing I thought I had to use store bought stencils so I got so many, now I hardly use them ever 😆. Lace is so much better and I'm like you, I keep bits and pieces of fabric and lace just for this purpose. ❤️❤️❤️
This was fun to watch. Can the lace or material be placed on paper like a stamp to leave the paint onto the paper?
Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed it. To answer your question, yes it can, but the print might be a bit lighter. You can see this in an example at 39:06. 😊❤️
I am wondering if you could do a print instead of using the white paper. Then do the second one as you did here in the video. I bought a gelli plate but haven't used it yet.
Yes, you could! I only had that deli paper in white so white paint didn't show, but on brown paper it would show definitely! Thank you so much for watching ❤️
I wanted to tell you to stitch on fabric, the stitches will show up in your prints
Thank you Denise! I'll try next time. That's a great idea ❤️😊
@@Saacibo stitch on card or paper , washi tape etc too making your own stitch strips My machine stitches flowers and leaves but I have had it over 40 years as I use to make my kids clothes🤗
Est ce que vs l'avez vos tissus et dentelles ?
I keep the fabrics that I use for printing in box with other stamping supplies 😊
👍👍👍💕💕💕🇩🇰
Thank you Karen ❤️
