Previous orthodontics assistant here! The sour taste is the etching we do to prep the teeth for the attachments for the invisalign. Think of the process as the shampoo/conditioner for your teeth before the attachments. ☺
Hallyn I have a tip for you!!Instead of putting the pill on your tongue, put a gulp of water in your mouth first then drop in the pill and swallow like it’s a tiny ice cube. You seriously can’t feel it! This way, I can swallow around 6 vitamins/pills at a time!
Hey there 👋🏼 just a quick tip from a nurse here; tucking your chin down to your chest while sipping water from a straw might help with swallowing pills. Putting the head back actually tightens and closes up the throat, making it harder for the pills to go down. 🤷🏼♀️ Hope all is going well with the invisilign and that Alli’s elbow is getting better! When the Mario Badescu spray was popular a lot of peoples skin didn’t like the alcohol in it. If you continue to have issues maybe you can switch to plain rose water spray. 🤷🏻♀️
I used to have THE most difficult time swallowing pills to the point where I'd just deal with the nasty taste and chew LOL now I find it easiest to take capsules with pop bc of the fizz and once I had that down, it became easier to swallow pills that tend to dissolve easier with juice or something of that sort LOL
I have the SAME problem at the dentist where my throat locks up bc I can't swallow my spit while they are working and I have to breathe through my nose😭 I feel seen😄❤
Nurse here! Leaning your head back to take pills closes the throat. Tuck your chin in next time- that movement opens the throat.

I find swallowi tablets different. I have found they go down easier and quicker if you lean your head faward not back.

My husband has to eat a piece of bread with his pills to be able to swallow them.
Try melatonin gummies or they have dissolvable tablets. 😆
