maybe the fuel source is rickerts own soul which would mean if the mech goes down rickert also feels pain ….idk man but that would be a good way for them to fight Griffiths army cause the odds are stacked against our hero’s so we need MAJOR power ups

Imagine if it all was a dream he had after Griffith beat him for the first time when they were teenagers (during those three days he was sleeping with Casca), like a predictive dream, and after he wakes up he does everything he can to avoid all that to happen... could he "change" that destiny with his actions?
But also if he somehow leaves right after that, he would miss the chance to fall in love with Casca, finally make good friends like Judeau or Pippin, find a warm family where he's loved and respected, so he would continue being the lonesome guy he's always been. However maybe he wants to stay to meet the love of his life and his friends, but in that case could he stop everything from happening? Has his destiny already been sealed by causality and he can't change that, even if he does some things differently to try to change it? Or he can change it and live a happy life? That would be interesting

Whatever you imagine, keep in mind Miura said 4 super important things that can direct you towards guessing the end:
    1. He wants a happy ending with bittersweet sprinkles here and there. Not a bittersweet ending but an actual happy ending. Happy like maybe Guts doesn't die/go to hell, since Guts is not truly the hero who "wins" the story, he is more of a survivor.
    2. Love stories from shojo mangas are an inspiriation, so think of Berserk as a love story as well.
    3. This is a 1000-year-old story.
    4. Void is the key.
It's all but explicitly confirmed that SK and Void are Gaiseric and the Sage/the Sage and Gaiseric, so they both started this whole thing and they will be the ones to end it or be at the end of it.
These next 10 years are going to be the longest decade of my life...

The Dragonslayer integrating Betchie is something I’ve predicted for a long time as well.
There’s one thing you’re missing, though.
    Rickert.
Rickert will be the one to reforge the Dragonslayer. It fits perfectly.
As the only heir of the late great Godot (lol, I’m using Godot to make my games rn), he should be the one to inherit and improve upon the Dragonslayer. Turn it from “just” a big slab of iron, into the true blade it was always meant to be.
Also, the Dragonslayer would become Rickert’s final sword. The final sword to rest upon the Hill. Imbued with the desires of all of the Hawks who were sacrificed in the name of Griffith’s rampant greed.
Just as Griffith devoured their suffering to ascend himself alone, Rickert would imbue his memories of them to ascend the Dragonslayer and aid Guts.

P.S: And If this happens, I can even see the Chadvengers (that's how I'll call both the JRPG party AND Rickert and Silat's crew) using either the Godslayer or Betchi to bring the Elfhelm creatures back to the Physical World as a way to counter the Apostle armada Griffith has!

The sinlge most terrifying thing to Griffith is losing in a fair duel, since it is something he has experienced only once. Maybe he lost, because it was the only time where he actually fought a fair duel?
After that, he did everything to assure himself of still being in absolute control, but the fair loss to Guts ruined him.
Griffith is currently at such extreme levels of power, that suffering even the slightest scratch in combat against any being - let alone a human - he would be beyond terrified and loose his cool again. This time, this would of course have an even more detrimental influence on the world. He would show his true colors in a pathetic search for immediate comfort and the world would see him for what he truly is.
Griffiths endgame would be a fight for retaining his image infront of the world. An image he believes can only be repaired by personally killing Guts. But the more Griffith tries, the more he continuously fails and his composed and seemingly indifferent image collapses

I think Guts' sword got embewed with elementals like Serpico's wind cloak and Isidro's fire dagger, but instead of the classic 4 elementals, its the 5rh one that shares the name of one of the godhand. Kind of like how Schierke summoned spirits that represented a certain elemental (Rotting Root Lord specifically), I think the Dragonslayer has this "Void" power from all the souls it has taken, and that might make it able to become a stronger Behelit sword than Skullknight's. Regarding Skull Knight's death, my theory is also that when the God Hand is finally defeated, his spirit will simply fade away or disintegrate because his revenge has finally been fulfilled, he will simply cease to be as a grudge having his goal accomplished.
Also when it comes to Sonia, let's not forget that all throughout this chapters of depressed Guts, Schierke is in Falconia and she still hasn't returned. My guess is that Sonia will see Shchierke's spirit in the city, they'll get to talk, and with both Schierke and Casca already on her mind, Sonia will probably begin to question Griffith, perhaps, gradually or maybe she will be the one who will awaken Casca from her cage. Sonia will be able to get all theinformation she needs about Griffith from Casca's mind and Schierke herself.
When it comes to deaths in the groups, I actually think the most likely is either Serpico or Roderick, although, I actually would be fine if none of them died.

    Theories:
    - Guts will come close to using the Behelit, but won't
    - Charlotte will find out everything about Griffith
    - Growing friction between jealous Sonia and Charlotte around Griffith
    - a higher force than Griffith will betray him
    - Zodd will also betray Griffith
    - Death of Zodd
    - Death of Skullknight/Guts follows in SK's footsteps, but becomes a better more human version of SK

    - Fall of Falconia
    - Farnese learns about Serpico being her brother, but confesses that she always felt it somehow, kinda like with Luke and Leia

13:22 this would make sense because it’s a biblical reference to the end times. Griffith basically parallels the antichrist where he’s charismatic, likable, and leader like. His followers would receive a mark on their foreheads which represents their loyalty. That had to have been what Miura was going for.

my ending prediction, which incorporates some elements of the omitted chapter:
    - in the lead-up, more is learned about Void, Femto's true form is publicly exposed to mankind through a disillusioned Sonia, the remaining populace mentally contends with this, key community figures like Luca reestablish virtues, erodes the idea foundation the "Idea of Evil" and thus the God Hand are built upon
    - Miura's last chapter showed that during the transformation from Moonlight Boy to Femto, Femto is briefly granted emotions, which is essentially a semblance of Griffith
    - "Griffith" has it revealed to him his life was a lie orchestrated over a millennium by Void to recreate Gaiseric's kingdom, but under his control with a proxy king whose only ambition is to rule (Skull Knight is a foil to both Guts AND Griffith btw)
    - "Griffith" lashes out against Void/God Hand like he recklessly lashed out against authority figures that got in his way in the Golden Age arc, kamikazes their realm, his ultimate redemption
    - Guts, in his ultimate Nietzschian triumph, cleaves the "Idea of Evil" heart in half with the Dragonslayer (Sea God battle is blatant foreshadowing)
    - artificial determinism eliminated, mankind goes forward with unfettered free will, harmony with the natural magic of the world

And I think there's gonna be a situation where Guts has to choose between killing Griffith or saving Casca or another member of his band,

The innocents of Falconia will be helped and some saved by our band. Skull Knight will be like DS3 Slave Knight Gael he’s gonna be the one to hold evil behelits inside himself like the dark soul and become another major shift in the world’s merge or something major in another way. The separation of Griffith and Guts and Casca’s son might not happen but maybe that’s what Skull Knight’s purpose for the behelits inside himself ultimately might be? I never thought much about who would die but Farnese definitely makes sense but I think Serpico would give his for her. The mass willing sacrifice is definitely connected in the same way you exactly have it right I see the same thing as most likely correct. I think Zodd might kill apostles inadvertently helping the band be able to defend innocents. I think the behelit could be for Daiba.

Heres the thing. Causality is a bitch and when I say that, in relation to the annexed chapter, causality is shaped in some form by the idea of evil. What Im guessing is this is all leading up to a moment where the truth is revealed that the moonlight boy is Guts and Cascas son and is the only weakness of Griffith. Guts hates kids suffering and whenever it came down to killing children, it had made Guts tribal; down right mad and if anything, Guts has been affected by so many moments so if Guts had to choose to kill his son to save the world, his very being and person will be tested and might let the child live and find another way or kill the child and be mentally scarred and/or lose Casca but saves the world in some capacity

Guts says chitch is “a representation of his weakness”, he was just deceived by a mercenary and he felt stupid and naive, chitch, in his own words, represents the innocence in him, so when chitch dies, it’s like a symbol of his innocence dying.
We haven’t had many “inner child” moments like when he remembers Donovan and gambino, and since the theme of a dream having symbolic meanings is jungian, I suspect chitch will return as sort of a way of guts letting go, of healing his inner child, of saying “you know what? This whole self I have been so worried about, this whole vengeance, all these problems I worry about, they are kind of silly, maybe I should be more like puck sometimes” because throughout his character development we have seen he is tje exact opposite of puck and the fairies, his innocence died, his love and compassion is always being repressed by avoidance, maybe in the final conclusion we finally see him not take himself so seriously for once, but not in a joker, mad laughter way like he sometimes does, maybe more like he sits down next to a river and just genuinely smiles because he finally understands what it was all about
Either that or the flower he planted became a tree and it’s super powerful and gives him magic powers because he planted it idk 😂

Maybe doesn't forgive, but finally walks away. Guts has always charged head on, face first, always acting and never taking the sideline. He fights because it's all he knows, but it was all he ever tried, even when he left. Griffith alluded to that with his books. Guts himself has to mull over this choice at Griffith's rebirth. The only thing that keeps him in the game at this point is the Brand. Griffith becomes de-powered and regains his humanity, regrets everything, asks Guts to kill him, and Guts refuses. He has to live with the guilt of destroying endless lives. He gave up everything to not live the rest of his life as an empty husk of a man with no agency, only to end it the same way. Maybe Casca gives him his wish as a callback to their first meeting, takes up the sword and destroys her assaulter, or maybe she too walks away.

We fear the worst…and then, subverting expectations….it contorts into….a smile. Perhaps he(maybe even puck)has influenced it and turned it into something else, perhaps it was ALWAYS something else, sent to him by a benevolent force in the realm of ideas and not a malevolent one. • @YvngHomieRyan

Before I watch this, I predict guts will battle the god hand to the death in the berserker armor, and his human body will die due to blood loss. And then through sheer willpower and rage, he will manifest into essentially what the skull knight is, a sort of physical entity with a soul embedded into it, but not a flesh body. Not sure what would happen next. I just feel that the amount of plot armor necessary for a human being like guts to not only take down the god hand but the IDEA OF EVIL is something else. Perhaps, because the idea of evil manifested into existence via the will of man (desiring a reason for suffering) that a change in the will of man can essentially erase the idea of evils power until it fades into oblivion. Anyone else agree?

I do believe that the God hand might disagree with a few things that Griffith may have in store and betray him. Because we do see that the God hand has had different members with them in flash backs that were shown. Is that due to some of them being defeated or betrayed by other God hand members? And if so will the same happen to Griffith?
