regarding Alchemist - I like to go down a bit before the tower just so I can clear the area around and not worry about anyone jumping in, for dodging I just hover-tap in circles, nothing more.
you'd think that after having my discord on do not disturb for like 2 years, id stop getting anxiety from the notification sound. great stuff by the way, really enjoying the banter and commentary. Echinoderm is still pretty quiet, I have trouble hearing them sometimes, especially whenever they aren't super confident about whatever they're saying. Quality sounds fine though, for the mic that they have.
I'm sorry about the discord noises, it's one of those things I didn't think to have him check since he's the one recording haha. I tried my best to get echin's stuff working a bit better with filters and whatnot but I think he's just got a genuinely awful mic. Definitely some more stuff to work on. We had a great time making this so I'm glad you enjoyed too!
I've never watched Alias before (get my Noita content from dunk historically), but this series has been excellent and the title of the first one caught my eye for its creative concept. This series is great. Watching Alias losing his mind has been cracking me the heck up, love it lmfao.
Nice experience, I am actually impressed by the fact that his first boss kill other than Komi was the pit boss as this fight always freak you out. Remember my first encounter to Alchemist, I got everything prepared to kill him and he just flew away to the sky and I could not find him afterall, and killed by him on the second encounter, of course. lol
Great run Echinderm, gg! It took me quite a few tries before I managed to kill the bridge boss. Your battle was scary AF, had me on the edge of my seat the whole time lol. That's some good coaching there Alias. Oh although your audio was a lot better that before, it was still a bit low, at times I could barely hear you. Looking forward to the next run!
I paused this video right before he fought the Alchemist, then played Noita myself, had my best run EVER, went to fight the alchemist for the first time, and I was ONE SHOT away from killing him, then died because I didn't know his lightning attack could redirect and hit you around a corner. And my stupid homing shot that would have hit him locked onto the wrong enemy on my last shot too! (I also wasted so long trying to clear a path to lead a heart mage to 3 max health increases, only to find out the enemy wasn't actually a heart mage DX I will upload a video of this soon.)
It's funny how you keep saying spell names to him and say it like he's supposed to know them :D He's a noob! I can really relate, with my friend teaching me another game recently ahah. Really entertaining stuff, this and the first one!
Great vid! Thank you! Only 1 request please! Would it be possible to make a first win on a brand new save state (with zero pre-unlocked spells) for us newbies the spells that you showcase are impossible to get because we never managed to get too far to have them!
Just discovered noita and this channel , love both . Im about 30 hours deep in noita and still struggling a bit with the tablet trick lmao how exactly do you do it ? Throw and pick up at the same time ?
you throw and hit your tablet hotkey at the same time, I find if you hold down it makes it more consistent. So for me it's throw + c and if you hit throw once and double tap c it's fairly consistent but it just takes practice. I'm glad you're enjoying both noita and my content! Welcome to the community :)
I learn something every time I watch other people play Noita and this time was no exception. To those still learning, you don't have to hit TAB to open your inventroy and then right-click on your potion to drink - just right click from the main HUD. Bottom's up!
Everyone builds up at their own pace. I guess I just meant 43 hours is enough time to get a bunch of the base line mechanics down, it's not his very first run or anything.
Ok so I tried this with my brother and all I can say is you have immense patience. I was telling him to keep himself covered in water, which he refused to do then set himself on fire😂 I was like "USE THE WATER!" Edit: it's super helpful when you call out the most efficient way to dodge an enemies attack
@@Solrex_the_Sun_King they drive me crazy too. I also have them off, sadly for this video Echin had to record and forgot them on. Future runs in this style won't have them.
This is like watching squidward teaching patrick to disarm bombs. And I relate to patrick a LOT.
As a noob I find this very helpful.
I really like this series, I hope you continue!
I have ~500 hours in Notia, and I still learn a bunch with these vids
wake up babe it's time for 2 and a half hours of noita gameplay

Just finished Dunk's 10 hour 100% video. Im ready for more noita longplay video.
your buddy did an amazing job at handling all the information thrown to him!
He's a quick learner thankfully thankfully!

this isn't your average everyday backseating, this is advanced backseating
Ive got almost 100 hours and just got my first win the other day thanks to some advice from this series.

These guided runs are so helpful please make more🙏🙏😭😭😭

I believe I have that as a setting for myself specifically ^
Ah yes, the ol' "accidentally chug some lava potion" is something one might want to avoid
Would love to see more of this kind of video.

"his playtime is relatively high"
>43h
me with 130 and 0 wins

Echin does a pretty decent job listening despite how it looks haha. It's definitely hard to get people to follow instructions in general though.
First! Thanks for continuing the series!
I love these super long videos.
Glad to hear it, these ones tend to be a lot easier to produce!
your friend did that boss battle so well
Super helpful, would be cool to do this sort of coaching for people at various levels.
this is great, is there more of this?
I have a couple more on the way!
Sweet! How do I keep missing these?!
And I'm loling within the first minute, this is gonna be great!
Nice!
The discord notifications are driving me nuts, I got mine turned off.
@@Solrex_the_Sun_King they drive me crazy too. I also have them off, sadly for this video Echin had to record and forgot them on. Future runs in this style won't have them.
HEKK yeah
why did i think the thumbnail was dantdm...
such a cool thumbnail it made me smile :)
I spent a lot of time on this one when someone mentioned the last coaching a noob video reminded them of their dad teaching them how to drive haha.
