I would love to have someone come in and clean my house top to bottom... Thank you for sharing how you cleaned the shower and that dreaded glass shower door!
I got a set of brushes from Amazon that fit on electric cordless power drills. They work great! And the toilet bowl cleaner is a great idea that I’ll use the next time I clean my shower in 2026!😂
Those drill brushes are amazing!
With that much scrubbing in the grout areas you’ll probably want to reseal the grout so it doesn’t crumble away. It will also stay cleaner longer.
It should be fine. This is how I would do it. I’m a professional cleaner and do this with vinegar too.
Thank you thank you thank you for using toilet bowl cleaner!!!! People never believe me when I tell them to do this. If people can leave it there for a few hours it helps to do the work for you. It works on the glass too!
Awesome job on that shower! Love watching all your cleaning tips and tricks.
I like the shower scrubbers you use in the shower.
Thanks for making this video it really is motivating!
Looks awesome, like new! ❤
Looks great. You are wonderful.
That’s funny, I don’t like to clean, but I really appreciate what you’re doing. It helps me
Love it!!
Is there a link for the handy ,dandy power brush ?
Absolutely amazing!
Thank you! I appreciate your feedback.
Looks great! I purchased the "toothbrush" you used and I find it super helpful for the grout. I have mosaic in one bathroom and we regret all that grout, so when we recently remodeled the Primary Bathroom, we used large format tiles so cleaning would be easier. What do you recommend to maintain/clean everyday to prevent this kind of build up?
Awesome ❤❤😊❤❤
This is one of my tasks today. How did you know? I'll probably stick to a milder cleaner today. But if I ramp it up, I think in addition to gloves, I'd consider eye protection due to the splatter.
Thanks for the link. What is spot on is everything. Oddly enough I use the toilet bowl cleaner too ..along with Bar Keepers Friend. N ur soo right. Air it out n wear those gloves. Steel wool of 000 never thought of. Going to get that for my house windows 😉👍
You had me at power tools!! Whooorah!
Yes, I love using power tools to clean!
I like the brushes to clean the shower but for me, I would probably have to do just one wall and corner at a time, then go back and do some more later. I have to pace myself when I work is why. Now if you can just keep people out of the shower it'll stay clean for a whole lot longer lol (joke). It actually did turn out really nice though! 😊
You did a great job cleaning looks great, inspiring:)…. Push to get the final painting done on exterior of shower, sanded grout calk around that bottom edge that keeps giving you problems maybe scrape out with razor knife
Your comment made my day! Yes the homeowners need to finish the shower. I did try a razor on that one spot and it didn’t help. It probably needs to have a vinegar or CLR soak with a cloth and plastic wrap over it to keep it from drying out. Thanks for watching!
I recognized the toilet bowl cleaner before you said it. I have the electric scrubber that I got when I had shoulder surgery in 2020. I haven’t used it since then. How does the cleaner affect aluminum on the shower doors and the fixtures?
I didn’t put it directly on the metal surfaces…and it was fine. You can test a small area that’s hard to see to be sure.
It should be fine. If you’re worried use vinegar it works great. You just need to give it some time to work.
IF you have a steam cleaner...better....no chemicals...disinfects...kills odors
Love this idea! 💗
I've found the steam cleaner great at loosening crud, but for grout it doesn't get it clean enough.
I steam before I put toilet cleaner on. Really works and less time scrubbing. I got cleaning brushes that attach to a drill. MUCH better than scrubber shown in video.
Great job! Now the homeowner should get it re grouted and sealed.
I did this on my bathroom floor tile last year for a video. We’ve lived in the house for 9 years. Never got it resealed and it’s doing great.
As long as it’s occasional. When it starts showing signs of degrading we will get it done. This homeowner likely doesn’t need to unless they want to.
It’s made me never ever want a shower with tile.
I would refer to a recent video where Diana spent $2500 to do all her grout because people always complained about it and how it literally did almost nothing. Still looks about the same.
@@CleanFreakGermaphobe I agree, I never want tile in a shower. I wouldn’t re grout unless it needed it.
I wanted a $$ long handle power scrubber but didn’t cuz of the reviews that say it’s a struggle to handle. Wish I could try one for free🤣😂
Every scrubber including carpet cleaners are a struggle to handle. I think it’s physics or something. With the rotating head it spins out from you. I think that’s why the one I have isn’t more powerful than it is.
I don't think you should use that 000 wool dry. I've always heard to use a combination of chemicals I can't think of right now.
Cilit Bang - black bottle, + oxygen mask 😂
Seal grout after clean and reseal every 6 months or so.
