Hey Patty! If you could only choose one color i would definitely recommend the black 😊 just because it matches more outfits. I would say it does fit true to size, but even if u wanted to size up one size it wouldnt look weird because you can cinch the waist. I went up to a size 6 because the black size 4 was a little restricting on my shoulders, but i didn’t find that issue with the brown!
