Nathan's voice is just so amazing and although he sometimes doesn't talk much, he can say everything with just one look or muscle movement in his jaw. He is a very good actor and I wish there would be more seasons but unfortunately we can't always have what we want.

I love how he talks about feeling great in the clothes, particulary favourite of mine is how he just stops and you can almost hear his thoughts: "I wish I could wear...wait I'm an adult, I can do what I want... I will wear it!" xD he's such a cutie
It is unbelievable that there is no Season 4. This is one of the best shows on television. I can't stop looking at Phrynie, and at Jack, as well. I love the costumes, the script, the cinematography - all of it. What is wrong with Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC Australia.) that they don't know how great this program is? You need to do a better job getting people involved with this program. Cancelling it isn't the answer.
The ABC is dependent on government funding, so we'd have to convince Canberra to open the purse strings to fund another season ... or two. Frankly, I'm not holding my breath.

I saw an interview where the director/producer or someone mentioned that the cast got too busy with other projects. But because they still loved miss fisher, they did a movie since it would take lesser time
She's great.....so much class but a liberated lady. Reminds of a great Aunt who passed away years ago. She was a flapper during the 20s and lived that life....not of course Miss fisher's life....but a fun life in the 1920s for a pretty young lady. It was a privilege for me as a young man to have known and loved my Auntie. She was a character indeed.
Oh please bring this show back!!! I miss jack and phryne. They need to get married and seal the deal haha also I miss dot and her man too they were adorable

My information says there will not be a Season 4, sadly, BUT there will be a Miss Fisher MOVIE this year and a spin--off series, so not to worry, we'll still have Phryne as the perfect role model!
I love this show! Phrynie is very determined to solve crimes. Jack slowly learns to tolerate her help solving crimes. Dot is adorable, as is Hugh. Other members of the entourage are always willing to help solve crimes. The aunt is shocked by all the goings on, but soon learns things happen for the best.

I started watching this show back in 2014, and loved it immensely! It is now running on our local station, The Knowledge Network, here in British Columbia, and I'm enjoying seeing it in the new 20s! Because of Phryne Fisher, I've bought several cloches, and some very nice blouses and skirts to wear. I love the fashions of the 1920s! Thanks for sharing this wonderful video! ~Janet in Canada
I just want to tell Essie Davis, that her character of Miss Fisher in the german version, her role got one of the best synchronizing actor Miss Daniela Hoffmann that there is no loss of the quality of this series.
I've been thinking that too, the same dubbing voice as Julia Roberts. That was such a great decision, it fits perfectly and contributes to the amazing quality of the show even in the synchronised version. Jack's voice is alright too and I think all the others as well. Such a lucky match!
I do not agree. In fact, I kept on seeing an older teacher every time I closed my eyes. The best doubbed version is on the french version. And of course, the original!!
I'm surprised you say that because I didn't think that at all when hearing the dub. I was actually kind of put off by it. The voice actress is generally great but I didn't think she was a good choice for voicing Phryne (I found Jack's voice actor even more unsuitable). The dubbing made the show lose its charm to me. But perhaps it's because I watched the original first and got used to it and can't see anyone else speak these characters.
An amazing serie! Not at all what I normally like, but so refreshing, positive and with the most incredible costumes!! We all want to be Phrynes and Jack!
Seen it. Its so not Phryne, its supposed to be "her niece" but No Just no The clothes are like "mod sqaud" The cast just i dont know i went in hoping but was so distracted by how much of a letdown
