Any tips on learning this piece? I am having trouble with the bari sax 16th note runs

The best thing to do is work on scales. This pattern is basically a scale. Keep your fingers close to the instrument as you move along. Are you in a quartet? Is your group playing this piece? Hope that helps.

@@RichKleinfeldtwsaxq we are the oxford high school quartet in Michigan and yes we have decided to run this piece at a local competition. We are performing on feb. 11th and we have come to submit to the piece 😂. I have gotten better since my first comment but I can only take this piece and learn from it now. I just talked with our Bari player. He's looking over his part to add any ideas but immediately said , "I tongue the lower notes when the 16th note lines jump an octave (or less). That way they are easier and cleaner to execute." Hope that helps.
